CONTINUING my Lost World series, I’ve collected three dozen letters attributed to notable NT names Peter, Paul, Clement, Barnabas, Dionysius, and Apollos. Included within the collection are the several pseudo letter of Ignatius and the correspondences between Paul and Seneca. Regarding the latter, it is indeed interesting that the early centuries read them widely and regarded them as genuine. And of course I can’t leave out my absolute favorite author from the bunch, Polycarp. The Lost World of the Christian Epistles is loaded with gems.
