Pastor Robb Goodman:
Hey, hey, good morning, everybody. My name is Pastor Robb Goodman and I am the pastor here at Zion Freedom Fellowship in Maryland.
It’s a beautiful sunny day, a little on the cool side, like 67 degrees this morning and beautiful sunny day. Praise God, yesterday I was able to go to the Oriole game and we beat the Tampa Bay Rays.
Two games. So we got the last game today.
We hope we sweep them, sweep them, sweep them, sweep them. It was a really good game last night, had a wonderful time.
Nate and I went. The friend that usually takes us with her, she had hurt her back.
And please pray for her. She, she really hurt her back.
She taken a couple of bad falls. And anyway, I’m trusting the Lord to heal her body and to fix her up and make her all brand new.
Amen to that. God is so good.
So anyway, I got a wonderful message for you today. So let’s pray and I’ll share the title with you.
Father, we thank you and we praise you, Lord, that your name is glorified in the heavens and the earth. Lord, we are to bear the true glory of God in our earthen bodies that you have given to us.
Because the spirit of God is present in our lives. Thank you, Jesus, that you sent the Holy Spirit to be our comforter, to be our, our one who equips us, who stands by us, who walks alongside with us, who strengthens us, who lifts us up, Lord, when we’re facing discouragement or attacks from the enemy.
In the mighty name of Jesus, Lord, I thank you that you will anoint me to speak your word today. Every scripture that you’ve given me this week about this topic, Lord, that I will speak it clearly.
And Lord, you’ll cause all my words to come directly from your throne.
Lord, I receive that anointing right now in the mighty name of Jesus. And I thank you and I praise you that you are the God of heaven and earth and everything that’s under the earth.
You’re the God of the whole universe.
And Lord, all flesh shall praise you and every knee shall bow and every tongue will proclaim that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God, the father.
Yes, indeed. Hallelujah.
Woo.
God is good. Amen.
He is good.
In Jesus name we pray.
Amen and amen.
All right.
Let me give you the topic, subject topic of what we’re going to share with today.
We’re going to study the topic, the fullness of the glory of the Lord, the fullness of the glory of Lord.
And if you can turn to Psalm 19, we’re going to go through this entire Psalm and I’m going to comment as we go through it.
So the Lord is amazing.
You know, folks, there’s nothing like being in the presence of Jesus Christ, the presence of the father, the presence of the son, the presence of the Holy Spirit.
We can sense his glorious anointing surround us and we’re going to we’re going to see how the glory of God is manifested in our life by scriptural examples.
We’re going to understand how we can walk in that same glory and bear the image of Jesus Christ in our lives.
Amen.
All right.
Let’s go to Psalm 19.
I’m going to get a sip of my Costa Rican coffee and say, woohoo.
Amen.
Thank you, folks.
That’s some good stuff.
That’s high voltage right there.
Give me a nice little kick.
Woo.
Woo.
Love you all very much.
Thanks for watching.
Thank you, Jesus.
All right.
Psalm 19.
We’re going to start with verse one.
The heavens declare the glory of God and the firmament shows his handiwork.
Now, this is some cool Scripture, I think, and it is really, really neat to see here.
Everything that Yahweh created gives glory to the Lord.
The Hebrew word translated as firmament in Psalm 19:1 is the Hebrew word, I think I’m saying this correctly, raqia, R-A-Q-I-A, which means an expanse, extended surface, or open vault of the sky.
So, all of the heavens declare the glory of God.
It’s amazing when you think about that, because when we look up at the night sky and we see a clear sky and we can see the, you know, sometimes we can see the Milky Way now from when the sky is clear.
Sometimes we can see the aurora borealis.
I mean, it’s just absolutely amazing.
I have a friend that lives in New Zealand.
He sees the southern aurora borealis, the southern lights, and they look completely different than our northern lights do.
It’s, it’s, it’s, it’s really, it’s amazing to see the colors.
So, anyway, so.
Praise be to God.
Let me go back to the psalm again.
All right.
Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night reveals knowledge.
There is no speech nor language where their voice is not heard.
Their line has gone out through all the earth, and their words to the ends of the world.
So, the stars, the planets, the galaxy gives glory to God.
Because God created the heavens and the earth in his power because he loved us.
He loves us so much that he created the heavens and the earth, and we can give glory to him.
And their words to the end of the earth, and their words to the end of the world.
In them he has set a tabernacle for the sun, which is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoices like a strong man to run a race.
It’s rising is from one end of heaven and its circuit to the other end, and there is nothing hidden from its heat.
Wow.
Isn’t that amazing?
The law of the Lord is perfect.
Now, this is really cool when you think about that.
The law of the world, the law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul.
You know, I always have said this, it’s so important when you and I share scripture with others that don’t believe yet, because only the word of God can penetrate into their heart.
The sword of the spirit, which is the word of God, it divides the soul from the spirit and the joints and the marrow, and is a discerner of the intents and the thoughts of every man’s heart.
So when you speak the word of God, not just your own words, but declare what the scripture has to say.
Tell them what Jesus said.
It will not hurt, and you can be bold enough to do that.
The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul, and that’s the part of us that we need to change.
That is where the biggest battle rages in our soul.
You know, we’re a spirit, we have a soul, and we live in a body.
So the soulish nature is where we tend to go wrong.
It’s where the enemy comes in, and he whispers lies through our ears and says, you know, you’re not very righteous.
Well, the scripture says, I’m the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus.
Yeah, but you know what?
You’re not perfect.
Cast those words down in the authority of Jesus’ name.
You don’t have to listen to those words.
Because the word of God says that no weapon that’s formed against you shall prosper.
And every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you will condemn it and show it to be in the wrong.
For this is the heritage of those that serve the Lord, and their righteousness comes from me.
Hallelujah.
The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple.
The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart.
The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.
That’s so true.
You know, the Apostle Paul talks in Ephesians chapter 1, starting with verse 16.
The eyes of your understanding, being enlightened, that you may know what the hope of your calling is.
So it is so very important that we allow the word of God to penetrate into our soulish area, and it will defeat the battle of the enemy’s lies that he speaks into your ears.
The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever.
The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether.
More to be desired are they than gold.
Yea, than much fine gold.
Sweeter also than the honey and the honeycomb.
Moreover, by them your servant is warned, and in keeping of them, there is great reward.
Who can understand his errors?
Cleanse me from secret faults.
Go back.
Go back.
Keep back your servant from presumptuous sins.
Let them not have dominion over me.
Then I shall be blameless, and I shall be innocent of the great transgression.
Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable in your sight, O Lord, my strength and my redeemer.
Hallelujah.
Blessed be the name of the Lord.
The Lord is so wonderful.
Blessed be his holy name.
Wahoo!
God is so good, folks.
He is so good and mighty.
Praise be to God.
All right, let’s go to Isaiah chapter 6.
We’ll start with verse 1.
Isaiah 6, verse 1.
Isaiah 6, chapter 6, and verse 1.
In the year that King Uzziah died, I, Isaiah, saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of his robe filled the entire heavenly temple.
Whew!
And above it stood seraphim, certain types of angelic being.
Each one had six wings.
With two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two of them he flew.
And one cried to another and said, Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts.
The whole earth is full of his glory.
Woo!
Thank God.
And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out.
And the house was filled with smoke.
We’re going to understand that smoke is a sign of the glory.
It is a manifestation of the glory of God by other scriptures that we will soon look at.
So I said, woe is me, for I am undone, because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips.
For my eyes have seen the king, the Lord of hosts.
Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal, which he had taken with the tongs from the altar.
And he touched my mouth with it, and he said, Behold, this has touched your lips, and your iniquity is taken away, and your sin is purged.
Also, I heard the voice of the Lord saying, Whom shall I send, and whom will go for us?
Now notice how the Lord says, us?
It’s evident that he’s speaking of the Trinity, God the Father, God the Son, God Holy Spirit.
Then I said, Here I am, send me.
How many of us are quick to say that to the Lord?
Oh, but you know, I can’t talk to people.
Look at Jonah.
Are you like Jonah?
That when the Lord says go, you got scared, and you hopped on a ship, and headed, and fled in the other direction?
No, you’re not supposed to do that.
We can receive boldness from God, and strength from the Holy Spirit to obey the Lord, that the glory of God will come upon us.
You know, I’m amazed.
I got to speak at my son’s Bible study, and my wife and I both shared a little bit, and my son Nate shared a little bit, and you know, hearing those young people, I mean, they were, Ryan’s like 34, 33, I think, and most of his friends are around that age, close to that age.
But one of the guys was sharing a story.
I might have shared this with you last week.
One of the guys was saying that he was in a young people’s meeting like a week or two before, and they all spent the night together in this church, the church that is in Plant City.
The Crossing Church that Ryan attends and is a big part of, that’s in Tampa, right around the corner from his home.
Takes him five minutes to travel there.
And the other church is in Plant City, like maybe halfway to Lakeland, which is about 45 minutes or so.
So, he was sharing this story about this young woman who was abusing herself by cutting herself.
That is completely demonic.
That is totally, totally demonic.
Well, this girl was cutting her body and harming herself, and she had scars all over her body.
Well, they prayed deliverance over this girl, and the power of God came on her.
She got set free, and every scar from her body was miraculously gone, right before their eyes.
I’m telling you, folks, when the glorious presence of Jesus Christ comes on the scene, nothing is impossible.
Jesus said, nothing is impossible to those that believe, but are we willing to step out in the power and the glory and release God’s glory on the scene?
Are we willing to pray for folks that are in wheelchairs or have sickness and disease?
Are we more worried about catching the disease than we are about their soul and praying for them?
Come on, folks.
Listen to what I’m having to say here.
The Lord knows what he is saying.
Then I said, here I am, send me.
And he said, go.
Tell this people, keep on hearing, but do not understand.
Keep on seeing, but do not perceive.
Make the heart of this people dull and their ears heavy, and shut their eyes, lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and return and be healed.
Woo!
God is not only a God that heals our heart, but he heals our body.
Thank you, Lord.
Then I said, Lord, how long?
And he answered, until the cities are laid waste and without inhabitant.
Okay, I’m going to stop there.
But man, that is a powerful scripture.
In Isaiah 6, verse 3, Isaiah said, he saw smoke fill the house of the Lord.
The doorposts were shaken at the sound of the Lord’s voice.
Can you imagine?
Have you ever been in a building and it shook?
I’ve never experienced that in my life, but it happened in the book of Acts.
I believe that it’s going to happen in the last days.
I have been in meetings, you know, 20, 30 years ago, where I’m telling you what, everybody was laid out.
It was amazing.
Totally amazing.
People could not move.
It was just absolutely mind-boggling.
People were laid out everywhere.
And the glory of God was so thick and heavy.
And that’s, that’s the Hebrew word, um, glory.
It means heavy weighted, a heavy weight.
And that’s why the presence of God sometimes feel heavy, not heavy in the sense that is putting you into bondage, but you get free in the presence of the Lord.
Praise be to God.
Woo-hee.
All right, let’s go to Isaiah 40.
Isaiah 40.
We’re going to read verses 1 through 5.
Isaiah 40.
Isaiah 40, verses 1 through 5.
Comfort.
Yes, comfort my people, says your God.
Speak comfort to Jerusalem and cry out to her, that her warfare is ended, that her iniquity is pardoned, for she has received from the Lord’s hand double for all of her sins.
The voice of one crying in the wilderness, prepare the way of the Lord.
Make straight in the desert a highway for our God.
Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill brought low.
The crooked places shall be made straight, and the rough places smooth.
The glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together.
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken this.
Now, isn’t it interesting that in this chapter, we see Isaiah prophesying about John the Baptist, which that’s exactly what he did.
He cried out.
He cried out in the wilderness.
Absolutely amazing.
The Lord is too much.
Praise be to God.
The glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all flesh will see it.
I believe that this speaks of the revival in the latter days before Jesus comes.
Let’s go to John chapter 1.
The Gospel of John chapter 1.
And we’re going to look at verse 12.
But as many as received him, capital H, to them he gave the right to become children of God to those who believe in his name, who were born not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but the will of God.
And the word became flesh.
Look at that.
That word, word is capital, capital W.
Capital W-O-R-D.
Became flesh and dwelt, tabernacled, and lived among us.
And we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.
John bore witness of him and cried out, saying, This was he of whom I said, He who comes after me is preferred before me, for he was before him.
And of his fullness.
Woo!
You don’t get just the part.
You get everything that Jesus did.
He accomplished.
You get all of him, not just his hand or his little pinky toe, but you get all of him.
When he comes into your heart, he completely transforms you forever and ever.
Isn’t that something that God gives you grace to get more grace?
You know what, folks?
You and I cannot survive without the grace of God.
Now, I’m not talking about cheap grace here.
I’m talking about someone that is completely dedicated, and they’ve sold their life out to the Lord Jesus Christ, and they’re living holy for the Lord.
They’ve given their life, the entirety of their life, and everything that they think about, everything that they do, they give themselves over to his Lordship, and he fills you with his fullness.
Everything that he is, everything that he does, everything that God made him to be, you get the full gift.
Isn’t that wonderful?
Man, I’m telling you, that gets me excited, folks.
If you don’t get excited about that, something’s wrong with you.
No one has seen God at any time.
The only begotten Son who is in the bosom of the Father, he has declared him.
All right, so I’m going to stop there.
That is awesome, awesome, awesome, awesome.
Praise be to God.
The word of God became living flesh, and we beheld the glory of the only begotten Son of God.
The glory of God will manifest as we get into the word.
What a revelation.
The Lord was really speaking that to me when I was preparing these scriptures this week.
He said, as you get into my word, because he says the word became flesh and tabernacled or dwelt among us.
So as you get into the word, the glory of the Lord is going to be released in you in great measure.
I’m not just talking about it a little bit, but I’m talking about the full kahuna.
The whole can of sardines.
God is so good.
God is so good.
All right, let’s go to Romans chapter 8.
Romans chapter 8.
And we’re going to start at verse 15.
Romans chapter 8, verse 15.
For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear.
But you received the spirit of adoption by whom we cry, Abba or Daddy, Father.
Amazing.
You know, all the Jewish people called their dad Abba.
It’s amazing when you think about it.
Completely amazing.
Only those that have relationship with God through Jesus Christ feel comfortable enough to call Father or Abba, Daddy.
Daddy God.
He loves me.
He cares for me.
He gave everything so he could have me.
The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are the children of God.
And if a children, then heirs, heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ.
If indeed we suffer with him, that we also may be glorified together.
For I consider that the sufferings of this present day or time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Think about that for a minute.
For the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the manifestation or the revealing of the sons of God.
For the creation was subject to futility, not willingly, but by reason, but because of him who subjected it in hope.
Because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
Hallelujah.
For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.
Not only that, but we also have the firstfruits of the spirit.
Even when we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.
For we are saved in this hope, but hope that is seen is not hope.
For why does one still hope for what he sees?
Man, isn’t that something else?
All right.
Blessed be the name of Jesus.
Suffering will bring the glory of the Lord into manifestation in your life.
I’m going to repeat that.
Suffering will bring the manifestation of the glory of the Lord into your life.
It will manifest through suffering as long as you have the right attitude that Jesus had when he suffered so terribly for us.
You know, folks, Jesus never complained.
He never murmured.
He never looked up at the father and said, oh, Lord, what?
I got to go through this for these people.
No, he never did that, did he?
He was a humble servant.
He had no voice when he went to the slaughter pen.
Think about it.
Oh, my Lord, think about it.
How are you suffering today?
How are you responding?
What comes out of your mouth?
Think about it.
Look, I’m going to tell you, I fall short a lot.
I fall short a lot because, you know, I got a lot of physical ailments in my body.
And I don’t like it.
I do not like it.
I don’t want it.
I want it to be gone.
But the Lord, he don’t like my complaining.
Man, that’s something else when you think about it.
Really, truly something else.
All right, let’s go to 2 Corinthians.
Chapter 3.
We’re going to start with verse 13.
2 Corinthians chapter 3, verse 13.
Unlike Moses, who put a veil or a covering over his face so that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the end of what was passing away.
Now, this actually happened.
Remember when Moses went up on the mountain, when he came down, his face was lit up and illuminated.
They put a covering over him because the people couldn’t look at him.
His face was so lit up from being in the presence of God for 40 days and 40 nights.
That’s just, that amazes me.
But his face was literally lit up.
And he says, He put a veil over his face that the children of Israel could not look steadily at the end of what was passing away.
Talking about the law there.
But their minds were blinded.
For until this day, the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the old covenant.
But the veil is taken away in Christ.
In other words, when you and I come to know Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we submit to him.
The veil comes off.
The veil on our heart comes off.
We now see.
And we behold the Lord.
We see differently than we used to say.
You know, I remember the night that I got born again.
It was a starry night on June the 6th, 1980.
I remember, you know, it was in an elementary school where I used to go to that, I’m not going to get into the whole story, but pastors that I had known told me that they were meeting there for a Bible study.
And the Lord spoke to me and called my name the night before.
I was sitting down with my friends and drinking alcohol and smoking dope.
And, you know, he spoke to me.
And I stood up and I said, guys, I got to go.
I can’t explain to you, but I’ve got to go because the Lord spoke to me in an audible voice and said, go home and call Miss Rose.
Well, I knew who Miss Rose was.
This is a woman, pastor’s wife.
They were very well acquainted with Kathryn Kuhlman.
They knew her very, very well.
Great woman of God.
I had gone to many services of hers when I was a young boy.
So anyway, so I go home, find her phone number, pick up the phone and call her.
And I said, Miss Rose, do you remember me?
She started laughing.
She said, do you remember what I said to you?
Well, I do.
And that was one of the reasons I didn’t want to have to call her.
Because when I was like 12 or 13 years old, she told me how badly I needed Jesus.
And I said, you can take your Jesus.
And I was ashamed that I said that.
And she ministered to me over the phone and told me about the meeting at the elementary school.
So the next day I woke up.
I got calls from so many friends, got invitations to go to different concerts.
I was just like so many people were calling me.
The devil did not want me to go to that meeting.
Well, that was the night around 7 o’clock on June the 6th, a Friday night.
June the 6th, 1980.
I think it was a Friday.
It wasn’t a Saturday.
It was a Friday night, I believe.
So lo and behold, I get born again in that meeting and delivered from drugs and alcohol and dope.
All cravings went away.
I got seriously delivered.
And glory be to God, I was a new person.
And I remember when I come home, you know, I went to tell my aunt first.
And I walked back in those days.
I went to tell my aunt and what had happened to me.
And she was excited about it.
And my grandmother was like, well, that’s good, you know.
But my grandmother was a Lutheran and didn’t know nothing about the works of the Holy Spirit, unfortunately.
But praise be to God, I’m walking home.
And I remember looking up and looking at the stars and they looked different.
I was seeing with new eyes.
I remember thinking, man, I’ve never seen anything like this before.
For I had new eyeballs to see things in a different light.
So God is something, folks.
He is something.
And he will never let you down.
And he will never let you down.
So, okay.
But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart.
Nevertheless, when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away.
It’s gone.
It’s gone.
Now, the Lord is the spirit.
And where the spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty, emancipation, and freedom from all bondage.
But we all, with an unveiled face, no longer veiled, beholding as in a mirror, the glory of the Lord are being transformed into that same image from glory to glory, just as by the spirit of the Lord.
Isn’t that wonderful?
So when you and I get into the word, the glory of God is in the word.
It is going to reflect from the word of God.
So please, please, please spend time in the word.
It will transform you.
It will change you.
I don’t know what else to tell you, folks.
But that is the truth.
For those of us who have believed in Jesus, the veil has been taken away from us.
We can see clearly now the glory of the Lord.
Let’s go to Revelation chapter 21, starting with verse 23.
Revelation chapter 21.
All right.
Actually, I’m going to go back to 22.
But I saw no temple in it for the Lord God almighty and the lamb are its temple.
The city had no need of the sun nor of the moon to shine in it for the glory of God illuminated the new city.
The lamb is its light and the nations of those who are saved walk in its light and the kings of the earth shall bring their glory and honor into it.
And the gates shall not be shut at all by day.
There shall be no night there.
And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it.
But there shall by no means enter anything that defiles or causes an abomination or a lie.
But only those who are written in the lamb’s book of life.
And that’s where your name is now.
So you must keep.
By the power of discipline and the Holy Spirit, you must make sure that your name is never blotted out of the lamb’s book of life.
And the only way that could ever happen is that you completely reject the Lord Jesus.
It’s the only way that that could ever happen.
It will never happen otherwise.
Never, never, never.
All right, let’s go to Exodus 16.
Exodus 16, back in the old covenant again.
Exodus 16, second book of the Bible.
And we are going to start.
Let’s go to verse one.
Why not?
What the hey, hey.
And I’ll tell you what, this coffee from Costa Rica, whoo, whoo, whoo, whoo, it’s good.
It was delivered to us by friends that came to visit us from there.
All right.
And they journeyed from Elim and all the congregation of the children of Israel came to the Wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai on the 15th day of the second month after they departed from the land of Egypt.
Then the whole congregation of the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness.
And the children of Israel said to them, oh, that we had died by the hand of the Lord in the land of Egypt.
When we sat by the pots of meat and when we ate bread to the full, for you have brought us out into this wilderness to kill this whole assembly with hunger.
Come on, folks.
How many, how many signs did the Lord do?
Come on, folks.
Tell me.
Parted the Red Sea.
Caused water to flow out of a rock.
Caused the manna to come down from heaven.
Fed them with the quail.
Because they were tired of eating.
I mean, come on, folks.
They had no reason to doubt the Lord.
And that’s exactly what it was.
They were mad at God, not at Moses and Aaron.
They were mad at God.
And God knew it.
Then the Lord said to Moses, behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you.
And the people shall go out and gather a certain quota every day that I may test them.
You know what?
Is your circumstance right now a test for you?
I know mine is.
I’m going to admit it to you.
You know, I don’t always do well with it.
But circumstances.
They could be health issues.
They could be marriage issues.
They could be all kinds of things.
Money problems.
You know, things happening in your home.
One thing after another.
I mean, there are a lot of circumstances that can be a test.
That I may test them whether they will walk in my law or not.
And it shall be on the sixth day that they shall prepare what they bring in.
And it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.
Then Moses and Aaron said to the children of Israel, at evening, you shall know that the Lord has brought you out of the land of Egypt.
And in the morning, you shall see the glory of the Lord, for he hears your complaints against the Lord.
But what are we that you are complaining against us?
Moses and Aaron.
And Moses said, this shall be seen.
When the Lord gives you meat to eat in the evening and in the morning, bread to the full for the Lord.
Hears your complaints, which you make against him.
And what are we?
Your complaints are not against us, but against the Lord.
Man, I’m telling you.
Come on now.
Tell the truth and shame the devil, folks.
Where are you right now?
Where are you?
Then Moses spoke to Aaron, say to all the children of Israel.
Come near before the Lord, for he has heard your complaints.
Now it came to pass, as Aaron spoke to the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and behold, the glory of the Lord appeared in the cloud.
And the Lord spoke to Moses saying, I have heard the complaints of the children of Israel speak to them, saying, at twilight, you shall eat meat, and in the morning you shall be filled with bread, and you shall know that I am the Lord your God.
So it was that quail came up that evening, and covered the camp, and in the morning the dew lay all around the camp.
And when the layer of dew lifted, there on the surface of the wilderness was a small round substance, as fine as frost on the ground.
So when the children of Israel saw it, they said to one another, what is this?
For they did not know what it was.
And Moses said to them, this is the bread which the Lord has given to you to eat.
This is the thing which the Lord has commanded, that every man gather it according to one’s need.
One omer for each person, according to the number of persons, and that every man take for those who are in his tent.
Then the children of Israel did so, and gathered some more, some less.
So when they measured it by omers, he who had gathered much had nothing left over, and he who had gathered little had no lack.
I love that verse.
I love it.
Every man had gathered according to each one’s need, and Moses said, let no one leave any of it till the morning.
Notwithstanding, they did not heed Moses.
Of course, they were disobedient, arrogant people.
But some of them left part of it until the morning, and it bred worms and began to stink.
And Moses was angry with them.
So they gathered it every morning according to his need, and when the sun became hot, it melted.
And so it was on the sixth day that they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for each one.
And all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses.
Then he said to them, this is what the Lord has said.
Tomorrow is a Sabbath rest, a holy Sabbath to the Lord.
Bake what you will, bake what you will, bake today, and boil what you will boil, and lay up for yourselves all that remains to be kept until morning.
So they laid it up till morning as Moses commanded, and it did not stink or rot, nor were there any worms in it.
Then Moses said, eat that today, for today is the Sabbath.
To the Lord today you will not find it in the field.
I’m sorry.
Eat that today, for today is the Sabbath.
To the Lord, today you will not find it in the field.
Six days you shall gather it, but on the seventh day, the Sabbath, there will be none.
Isn’t it amazing what God did?
It’s just amazing to me.
Now it happened that some of the people went out on the seventh day to gather, but they found none.
Because God said, right?
God spoke through his servant.
There won’t be any.
And the Lord said to Moses, how long do you refuse to keep my commandments and my laws?
See, for the Lord has given you the Sabbath.
Therefore, he gives you on the sixth day bread for two days.
Let every man remain in his place, but no man go out of his place on the seventh day.
So the people rested on the seventh day.
And the house of Israel called its name manna.
And it was like white coriander seed.
And the taste of it was like wafers made with honey.
So it had a sweet taste to it.
Isn’t that amazing?
So it nurtured their bodies.
God knew what they needed.
Then Moses said, this is the thing which the Lord has commanded.
Fill an omer with it to be kept for your generation, that they may see the bread which the Lord fed you with in the wilderness when I brought you up out of the land of Egypt.
And Moses said to Aaron, take a pot and put an omer of manna in it and lay it up before the Lord to be kept for generations.
And the Lord commanded Moses, so Aaron laid it up before the testimony to be kept.
And the children of Israel ate manna 40 years until they came to an inhabited land.
They ate manna until they came to the border of the land of Canaan.
Now, an omer is one-tenth of an ephah, which I haven’t looked up how much that is, but it was enough for them to survive on.
Amen?
Wow.
Praise be to God.
God is awesome.
God is awesome.
God is awesome.
God is awesome.
All right, let’s go to Exodus chapter 16, verses 6 through 9.
Exodus 16, 6 through 9.
Wait a minute now.
I was just in…
Hold on one second.
Let me go back.
Did I already read this, guys?
Yeah, I already read it.
Sorry about that, guys.
Thank you, Lord.
All right, let’s go to Exodus 24, 12 through 18.
Exodus 24, and we’re going to start with verse 12.
Just as a reminder, I will read the comments that y’all are leaving right now.
They’re going to go away after the live stream is over.
Nobody else will see these.
So if you want to go back on and make a comment, please feel free to do that, okay?
All right, verse 12, Exodus 24.
So Moses arose with his assistant Joshua.
And Moses went up to the mountain of God, and he said to the elders, wait here for us until we come back to you.
Indeed, Aaron and Hur are with you.
If any man has a difficulty, let him go to them.
Then Moses went up into the mountain, and a cloud covered the mountain.
This is how the Lord, how God manifests himself.
And, you know, it’s interesting to know because if the Lord did not hide his glory in a cloud, it probably would have killed the children of Israel.
It would have wiped them out because they couldn’t look on it.
You know, in their unborn-again state, they could not look and see God, or they probably would have been short-circuited and gone.
Just like that.
Now the glory of the Lord rested on Mount Sinai, and the cloud covered it six days.
And on the seventh day, he called to Moses out of the midst of the cloud.
The sight of the glory of the Lord was like a consuming fire on top of the mountain in the eyes of the children of Israel.
So Moses went into the midst of the cloud and went up into the mountain.
And Moses was on the mountain 40 days and 40 nights.
Now, you know, it was impossible for him to stay up there that long with no food and water.
But God nourished him supernaturally.
What an amazing thing.
When you get into the glory, you’re going to see things that you never imagined.
You’re going to hear things that you never imagined.
And God will reveal himself to you.
Who he is, what he desires from your life.
And he will speak.
Praise be to God.
All right.
Let’s go to Exodus 40, verses 33 to 38.
Exodus 40.
Exodus 40, starting with verse 33.
And he raised up.
Hang on one second.
Let’s go back to 32.
whenever they went into the tabernacle of meeting.
And when they came near to the altar, they washed.
They washed, as the Lord had commanded Moses, and he raised up the court all around the tabernacle and the altar and hung up the screen of the court.
So Moses finished the tabernacle of meeting.
And the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle and Moses was not able to enter the tabernacle of meeting because the cloud rested above it and the glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle.
Whenever the cloud was taken up from above the tabernacle, the children of Israel would go onward in their journey.
But if the cloud was not taken up, then they did not journey till the day that it was taken up.
For the cloud of the Lord was above the tabernacle by day and fire was over it by night in the sight of all the house of Israel throughout all their journeys.
Amazing, absolutely amazing and phenomenal that they saw the glory of the Lord on a daily basis, and yet they were obstinate, they were ignorant, and they refused to believe and obey God.
That is just hard to understand.
But I’ve been there.
I’ve been there, sad to say.
All right, let’s go to Leviticus 9, 22 through 24, Leviticus 9.
Then Aaron lifted his hand toward the people, blessed them, and came down from the offering, the sin offering, the burnt offering, and peace offerings.
And Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of meeting, and came out and blessed the people.
Then the glory of the Lord appeared to all the people, and fire came out from before the Lord, and consumed the burnt offering, and the fat on the altar.
When all the people saw it, they shouted, and they fell on their faces.
Now, I spoke earlier about having been in meetings in the past where you couldn’t move.
The glory of God was so strong.
You know, I remember a man down in Tennessee.
He may have been a believer, but he wasn’t very into going to church.
He went because his wife and his son was there.
Well, one night, the power of God fell on that man, and he laid on the ground for a long time.
And every time he went to get up, the Lord would put him back down again.
His body got short-circuited.
You know, my elder, well, my right-hand man in church here, he tells a story when Bobby Jean Merck came to visit us the very first time.
And we were meeting in a house at that point.
And we had, the whole room was filled with people.
It had like 40-some people in that huge living room.
And it was packed.
And she, Bobby Jean, after she finished her message, started laying hands on people, and people started going down under the power.
Well, Brother Bill, he said, I’m not taking a courtesy dip for nobody.
Well, little did he know that he said the wrong thing.
And the Lord was like, I’m going to show you who’s God.
And it was so, just so beautiful, because he went down, his knees, he said, my knees, my knees started feeling like rubber, and I couldn’t stand up.
Oh, my goodness.
And lo and behold, he went down.
And he kept trying to get up, and he couldn’t.
He lifted up his head and went, lift up his head.
Oh, what a beautiful meeting that was.
Oh, my goodness.
I have so many fond memories of beautiful times in the Lord.
But you know what?
I’m hungry to see more.
I want to see more.
My youngest son, Ryan, he is seeing all these kinds of things with his young people.
I mean, it’s amazing.
Completely and totally amazing.
God is so good.
God is so, so good.
Blessed be his holy name.
We must learn to trust the Lord and the words of true and faithful leaders anointed by him.
And if you want to read later, I don’t have time to read it now.
I have a lot of scriptures here.
But for the sake of time, you can read Numbers chapter 14, 10 through 35.
And you’ll see how God consumed the disobedient.
I mean, he wiped them, he wiped them off, wiped them out.
Which is nothing to laugh at, nothing to joke about.
But wow.
Absolutely amazing.
All right.
All right.
The last scripture for today.
We’re going to turn to Ezekiel chapter 1.
Ezekiel chapter 1.
And we are going to look at, start with verse 22.
The likeness of the firmament above the heads of the living creatures was like the color of an awesome crystal stretched out over their heads.
And under the firmament, their wings spread out straight, one toward the other.
Each one had two, each one had two, which covered one side, and each had two, which covered the other side of his body.
When they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of many waters, like the voice of the Almighty, a tumult like the noise of an army.
And when they stood still, they let down their wings.
And a voice from above the firmament that was over their heads, when they stood, they let down their wings.
And above the firmament and over their heads was the likeness of a throne in appearance, like a sapphire stone.
And the likeness of the throne was a likeness with the appearance of a man high above it.
Also, from the appearance of his waist and upward, I saw, as it were, the color of amber with the appearance of fire all within it.
And from the appearance of his waist and downward, I saw, as it were, the appearance of fire with brightness all around, like the appearance of a rainbow.
Well, in a cloud on a rainy day, so was the appearance of the brightness all around it.
That was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord.
Wow.
Wow, wow, wow.
I want you to, hopefully you wrote down these scriptures that you can study them and meditate upon them.
Remember what I said earlier, if you meditate on the word of God on a regular basis, the glory of God that’s in the word.
Okay, because the word became flesh and dwelt among us and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten son of God.
So we behold, when we’re looking at the word, the word is life to those that find them in health, to all their flesh.
Healing will come to you.
God’s grace will manifest unto you.
Peace, shalom, will manifest to you.
Peace will manifest to you.
Everything will be beautiful and God will equip you.
Father, I thank you for everyone that’s watching this live stream today.
There are those of you that may be watching today that you’ve never, ever met the Lord Jesus.
If you’re listening right now and you’ve never met Jesus before, oh, I cry out to you from the deepest part of my gut that you would give your heart and life to the Lord Jesus Christ.
That you would allow him to be the Lord of your life and submit unto him.
He loves you so much.
He wants to save you from the fiery furnace.
He wants to save you from the pit of hell.
Because without Christ, that’s where you will wind up.
It’s the truth.
Jesus loves you.
He paid the price so that you can have salvation and your sins completely washed and cleansed.
Jesus, I ask you, Holy Spirit, to convict those that are watching this broadcast today.
That you would touch their lives, wherever they may be from.
Whatever might be going on in their lives personally.
Things that I don’t know, but you know, Jesus.
Everything about them.
You know the number of hairs that are growing on their head right now.
Oh, he cares about you so much.
Allow him to touch you.
Ask Jesus to forgive you.
Do you want to see the glory of God in your life manifested?
Then give yourself completely and wholly to him and watch what he will do.
He will be your Lord.
He’ll be your best friend.
He’ll be everything to you.
Father, repeat this prayer with me.
Say, Dear Lord Jesus, I believe that you are the Son of the living God.
I ask you right now to come into my heart and to cleanse me from all of my sin.
Let me be obedient to you.
Lead me and guide me my entire life from here on out.
Jesus, be the Lord of my life.
I yield my life to you.
I want my name to be written in the Lamb’s book of life.
I want to know you like I’ve never known you before.
Have me, Lord.
Take me.
Pursue me and love me.
In Jesus Christ’s holy name, I pray.
Amen and amen.
If you prayed that prayer with me, please send me an email.
You can write to me an email.
at zionfreedomfellowship@gmail.com.
zionfreedomfellowship@gmail.com.
And I will get that email and I will answer it as soon as I have the opportunity.
May God bless you and keep you.
May the Lord cause his face to shine upon you and be gracious unto you.
May the Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you his everlasting shalom.
Peace, peace, peace.
Shalom aleichem.
In the name of Jesus Christ.
Amen and amen.
I love you all.
God bless you.
Have a wonderful day with your family.
And let the Lord reign in your heart.
I’ll see you again next week.
God bless everybody.
In Jesus name.
Amen.
Thank you.
I hope this message blesses you and gives you a deeper hunger for the presence and Glory of God.
Have a wonderful Sunday, my friends!
