“No. I don’t think about her. I think she’s a fraud. I really don’t think about that. She probably had herself sprayed, knowing her,” Trump said, according to ABC News correspondent Rachel Scott.
Scott said she asked Trump if he saw the video.
“I haven’t seen it. No, no. I hope I don’t have to bother,” Trump reportedly responded.
Just spoke to Pres. Trump. I asked him if he had seen the video of Rep. Omar being attacked and sprayed by a substance.
“No. I don’t think about her. I think she’s a fraud. I really don’t think about that. She probably had herself sprayed, knowing her,” the president said.

The Hill has more:
A livestream of the town hall showed the man standing and yelling at Omar, who was calling for Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem to resign or face impeachment after two fatal shootings involving immigration enforcement officers in Minneapolis. The suspect was tackled and arrested after spraying the lawmaker.
Omar continued with the town hall after the incident, saying, “These f‑‑‑ing a‑‑holes are not going to get away with it.”
She struck an even more defiant tone in remarks after the event.
“I’ve survived war and I’m definitely going to survive intimidation or whatever these people think they can throw at me, because I’m built that way,” the lawmaker said.

“I’m ok. I’m a survivor so this small agitator isn’t going to intimidate me from doing my work. I don’t let bullies win. Grateful to my incredible constituents who rallied behind me. Minnesota strong,” Omar said.

USA TODAY noted:
Trump has questioned how Omar, a U.S. citizen since 2000, accumulated her wealth, announcing this week a Justice Department investigation into the matter. According to a financial disclosure filed with Congress, Omar’s net worth skyrocketed in 2025 as the lawmaker posted $6 million to $30 million in income through her spouse’s stake in a California winery and a venture capital firm.
The attack occurred as Minneapolis remains on edge following the fatal shootings of two U.S. citizens amid Trump’s surge of Immigration and Customs Enforcement and other federal authorities in the state.
