USUALLY in these situations, there is the good news and the bad news, but all I have to offer you today is the sad news. A week or so ago, I had to let Rebecca know that we would be taking over the store and other behind-the-scenes operations at TUC due to no longer having the money to pay her. If there is any good news, it’s that her story is not over, and there is still a chance that she can be provided for.
The Elders here at TUC—Dave, Michael, and Pauly—have been kept up to speed on the situation from the very beginning, among its many developments. I make very few community decisions without their wisdom, input, decision, or consent, and this was certainly not an exception. We are all in agreement that I need to first supply for my family before taking on any additions. If I fail at providing for my family, then everything else fractures.
Starting in 2022, Rebecca has been employed for nearly three years. At the beginning of every month, I pay Rebecca before even beginning the fundraising for my family. After meeting that amount, I then turn my attention upon Pamela. Last I checked, the June budget is still $4000 short. That would be $4000 that I need just to provide for my family’s needs and doesn’t even include the fundraising for Pamela. Last month, we only brought in something like $300 for Pamela, which is not enough for her to live upon. And here she is attempting to translate the entire Bible from the Paleo. This came in the wake of the news that Pamela was potentially getting evicted from her apartment in Alabama, which is why Sarah and I contributed an additional $1000 from our own budget in hopes of keeping her afloat as she sought out new possibilities in Florida. We began this ministry debt free, but that is a sure recipe for sliding into it.
My heart’s desire has been to provide for the widows, and nothing has changed. Moving forward, here is how it will work. I will be providing for my wife and children and then, afterwards, distribute the funds to Pamela and Rebecca as they come in. We are still living month by month, giving our harvest whenever it is brought in rather than stockpiling, trusting for YAH’s continual provisions.
There is still some good news in all of this. Rebecca has her name attached to something like 30 books in our growing catalogue. As an editor rather than a writer, they are not copyrighted, but I have told her we will pay a percentage for each sale, just as we pay Pamela and our other writers. This will ensure future income. Hopefully, it will also encourage Rebecca to turn out more editions. Ah, the life of a writer.
Taking over the store is definitely a learning curve. Rebecca has done more to build up this community than most probably know, and she has been very helpful in the transition process. How ironic that the employee is training the manager. What this means is that more of my time is being occupied on the back end rather than researching and writing, presenting and so on, as has been the norm. Rebecca has told me that the store alone has nearly reached the point of becoming a full-time job. Well, bummer, because I can’t afford to employ a full-timer. Not that I’m complaining. Rather, I’m mourning the departure of an irrefutable blessing. Perhaps it is only a temporary loss.
I believe the ministry statement here at TUC is a unique one. Though there are many content providers on social media presenting conspiratorial research, I aim to reel everything back to a Revelation 14:12 focus, which is to say, the saints are defined as those who perceiver in the Commands of YAHAUAHA as well as the Testimony of YASHA’UA. Nothing else matters. The two are inseparable, and I believe ALAHAYAM has called me to it. When we connect Rev 14:12 with Psalm 2, we can see that there is no greater conspiracy than the confederacy of kings who plot against YAHAUAHA. That not only includes his kingship, but also, his Torah, aka, Rev 14:12. This Truth deserves all of our dedication.
Thank you all for your patience and support. Your prayers are appreciated. May YAH continue to bless this ministry for many more years to come.
Give Pamela and Rebecca your love. They faithfully serve this ministry.
