AS part of a much larger investigation into the Millennial Kingdom across Europe, I visited Temple Church just last week and can confirm the Internet reports. The original 1185 church is indeed a circular one. I have even offered the photos to prove it. In review, the Templars were founded in 1118, though their origin story would not be told until 1175. Nearly one decade later, in 1184, the Templars of Britain found their new headquarters at Temple Church in London—the location for initiation rituals. This occurred only after King Henry II granted the Templars large and extravagant land across England, a seemingly unprecedented action in the history of the world. Hold that thought for a moment. Many suspect he attended the consecration of Temple Church in 1185 as well.
In this long overdue update to my Templars and the Millennial Kingdom paper, I decided to focus upon William Marshal (1146-1219), who is interred at the Temple. In January 1215, Marshal served as a negotiator during the meeting between King John and the barons, by which the Magna Carta was drafted. John Hancock was his 16th great-grandnephew, by the way. Which brings up my next point. I have long noticed that the Magna Carta signers have an insane number of royals, presidents, and world stage actors attached to them. Rather than chronologizing each one, I took a closer look at William Marshal’s genealogy, and it’s sick. You can read all about it in my latest report.
