The Journey of a Child…

by Laura Robinson

Wandering alone through a field of various flowers, passing life by as butterflies ascend in the air.

Seeking a destination sent out by no one.

No purpose for living, here and then gone.

Staring blankly into the rays of sunlight, screaming into deaf ears.

No person to care or shoulder to cry on.

Wanting nothing more than a smell of love from a single petal, to comfort the pain from thorns in the past.

Meaningless toil in time is nothing but memories created, embedded into the mind for eternal torture.

No riches to give, oppression received from those in authority that do not believe.

All hope is lost in uneasy storms, shaken by the waves of worthless pleasures.

Look past the light to the promises of God. Revelations untold given in Love.

Blessings from above flow through waterfalls and rivers and gather in pools mixed with tears.

Take part in the grace only one truly can feel chosen by God as his child in a family of children.

Rest for the weary and food for the soul, pray as if someday you’ll be whole.

Holy through God, healing he gives for his lost and sick children, come to Him and Live.
