Tears
by Laura Robinson
Gently it creates a way for more to follow
Flowing down anyway and anywhere it wants
Staining the skin with its rich taste
Leaving the memories and all the pain
To be seen by others passing by
From deep within like a volcano erupts
Ready to burst and overflow
The rivers and streams formed by a single drop
Gathering in oceans, the sight is blurred
Bleary and bloodshot, run and hide
So alone in a world where no one’s there
Watching them fall into the puddles of life
