Well, this is a strange turn of events.
After agreeing to testify behind closed doors on her ties to Jeffrey Epstein, Hillary Clinton is now pushing for the hearing to be made public.
In the name of transparency, Hillary is requesting a live hearing for all to see!
She openly called for it to be made public on X:
So let’s stop the games.
If you want this fight, @RepJamesComer, let’s have it—in public.
You love to talk about transparency. There’s nothing more transparent than a public hearing, cameras on.
We will be there.

House Chairman James Comer has already scheduled depositions for Hillary and Bill on February 27th-28th.
This came after months of the Clintons refusing to comply with subpoenas in the investigation.
Rep. Comer argues that closed depositions are “preferred” but that he will consider a public hearing sometime in the future, after the depositions.
From ABC News:
A letter from the Clintons’ attorney Jon Skladany to Comer also said an open hearing “will best suit our concerns about fairness,” citing the requirement that the interviews be videotaped — but ultimately left the decision about whether to hold a hearing or a deposition up to Comer.
The subpoenas the committee sent to the Clintons were specifically for a closed-door deposition. That is what will occur, and Comer said a public hearing is welcome after that if the Clintons want to come in.
“The deposition will be made public, it’s going to be audio, video and the transcripts will be released,” Comer said in an interview on Newsmax on Wednesday.
“Depositions are always the preferred means of getting information from a witness. If you look at history, congressional hearings, they may be entertaining, but they’re not very substantive … So, we’re going to do the depositions. That’s what the subpoena is for,” Comer said.
“And after the depositions, if the Clintons want more, they’re more than welcome to come to the House Oversight Committee after they’re deposed. If they want to testify in a public hearing in front of the Oversight Committee, they are more than welcome to do that.”
In an interview with Benny Johnson, Rep. Comer re-iterated that the Clinton depositions will be recorded and made public.
He says that if they want to do a live, televised hearing afterwards, then they can do it separately.
Watch what he had to say here:

So: what’s really going on here?
What’s with the sudden flip?
Hillary pushed back against a subpoena for months, and now she suddenly wants to testify before Congress on live television?
It’s very bizarre, and I have to wonder if this is just some attempt on Hillary’s part to stall the hearing or create a distraction.
But, if she is actually being genuine (for once) and is serious about having a fair, public hearing, then let’s make it happen!
We, the people, have the right to hear what the Clintons have to say for ourselves.
We deserve transparency and truth.
What do you think?
Should the Clintons testify in a public, live, televised hearing?
