NEW [12/21/24] Christmas and the Millennial Kingdom
THANK you everyone who supports this ministry. Be sure to check out our Ministry Vision if you haven’t already. Kingdomverse episodes like this one may be behind a Pay wall, but you can participate in any of them for free by visiting our TUC: The Unexpected Cosmology Discord channel. We meet every Friday night at 7pm EST. I dropped a link. Nab it while it works.
In this episode of Kingdomverse, we continue our Millennial Kingdom investigation, and I ask the question: “Was Christmas instituted before, during, or after the Thousand Year Reign of Messiah?” The response was varied. The bigger question however relies on whether or not the origins of Christmas are pagan or not. It’s a nearly impossible discussion to have, because nearly all of us have knee jerk reactions to the last 200 years of Institutionalized Christmas, with its materialism, Santa Clause, and what have you. And let’s not forget Martin Luther and the Christmas tree. But what if we strip all that back and look at Christmas merely as a feast day? Void of Christmas trees, mistletoe, eggnog, stockings, and giftgiving. Is it still pagan, and if so, then why?
