“On that day I lifted My hand in an oath to them, to bring them out of the land of Mitsrayim into a land that I had searched out for them, flowing with milk and honey, the splendor of all lands.”

Ezekiel 20:6

AS EVERYTHING, in searching for truth about the world around us, one thing leads to another. But this search, I do believe started with prayer. Rarely in my life I remember such a distinct feeling of significance in prayer that I didn’t realize why at the time. I won’t go into the details of why or the synchronicities in life that prompted this prayer, but two years ago I had prayed “remove the curse of the land of Israel off our family.”

I had no idea at the time if those were the right words to use or to even question the location of the land of Israel. That’s where our English translated Bibles and commentaries said it was, right? That was where people spent so much funding and time searching for clues and proof of biblical events. That was where my education said it was. That was where my church had said it was. That was where the history books said it was. That was where maps said it was. That was where movies said it was. That was where political parties said it was.

“Blessed is he who trusts in Yahuah whose confidence is in Him.”

Jeremiah 17:7

There it is, the verse high on my living room wall. Why did I choose that verse over a year before that prayer? Because the search for truth started in Jeremiah 17. Technically with verse 5. But verse 5 isn’t as pleasant of a promise to tattoo on the wall of my home. It’s a warning.

“Cursed is the one who trusts in man, who draws strength from mere flesh and whose heart turns away from the Lord.”

Jeremiah 17:5

Hence, “Remove the curse of the land of Israel off our family”

A couple of months later, I came across a YouTube video from TruthUnveiled777. For me, this was different then some of the other informative videos he had shared. This presented a new concept to me that I had never considered. The land of Israel wasn’t where they told us it was. Okay, something about that stuck with me. Maybe it was the emotional background music. Maybe it was the confidence in his speech. Maybe it was how I already realized how many of the things taught about our world aren’t backed up by testable reality. And maybe it was because it also brought back to memory about my prayer. However so, as the video goes, he offered Israel’s true real location in South Africa. He used man made old maps. He used some details of scripture which maybe are better explained in Southern Africa than the assumed land… but still seemed not conclusive or detailed enough of an argument.

I began to research other theories. Other locations in Africa were suggested…. quickly giving my head a shake. What had Rob Skiba said with his research? “The second thing I did … I’m a Bible believing Christian, so the first thing I should have done would have been to consult the scriptures. But it was actually the second thing I did.” Seems like a logical approach, to apply this, to see where the scriptural events actually occurred.

The following, and the purpose of this article, is to present a series of concepts, questions and theories relating to what I came across in my research.

Opening up The Scriptures 2009 version of the Bible to the book of Joshua seemed like a good place to start. I chose that version because it used original Hebrew names. Perhaps using different names would help me disassociate from any previous biases I had about the places and let the text speak for itself. So, they were mapping out the
boundaries: land, land, mountain, sea, land, river, land, land, hill country, plains…. Simple enough. Numbers 34 spoke of the boundaries west of the Yarden river. The western border was sea. The south and north were land. The eastern border was the river. So, basically land. Nothing seemed to match the southern Africa version. But … Numbers 34:2 “Command…” What is this? Haven’t people thoroughly gone over the list of commands and counted up 613 of them and they “missed” this one? There I go again, trusting that people have done a thorough investigation.

“And the lot of the tribe of the children of Yehudah for their clans was to the border of Edom, the Wilderness of Tsin southward in the extreme south. And their southern border began at the edge of the Salt Sea, from the bay that faces southward.”

Joshua 15:2

What!? That’s not what the map shows. How can that be the “extreme south” and a “bay that faces south?”

“On the same day Yahuah made a covenant with Abram, saying, “I have given this land to your seed, from the river of Mitsrayim to the great river, the River Euphrates…” Genesis 15:18

Wait a minute. The river of Egypt is further south then the Dead Sea. Or maybe the river of Mitsrayim isn’t the river of Egypt. And the Dead Sea isn’t the Salt Sea. It’s also known as the Sea of the Arabah (TS2009 Joshua 12:3). Sea of the Arabah … Arabian Sea? … Sea of the Arabah … C Arabah … Arabian Sea? C-aribbean
Sea? Laughing… wouldn’t that be funny? Of course that isn’t possible. We know the land of Mitsrayim is south of the land of Yashar’el and the Red Sea as well. The land of Edom was south of Yashar’el, but east of the Red Sea. The Israelites traveled to get to the sunrise side of the Yarden before crossing. But still map names are curious sometimes. These are things to keep in mind before getting carried away. It seemed likely that the land was still somewhere around where it was believed to be today. Where else could fit the description? Larger perhaps? The landscape changed? Did they label the wrong river the Jordan? Who knows?

It’s a lot to wrap my head around. I was part way through my first year homeschooling my four children. Grades 2 to 8. I had to set this aside. Other things to do.

Videos on YouTube caught my attention again, as I did housework, folded laundry, cooked meals. It’s research for homeschooling. History, war of 1812, natural disasters, a flash of a map across the screen. “Mer Rouge”. … Mer Rouge on the French Jaillot map of 1694 of North America. North America. Mer Rouge. Red Sea. … oh and where was the Grand Canyon? Another large lake was shown… no Grand Canyon.

My years of research into the fallacy that is known as human macro-evolution along with slow geological processes theories brought back to mind ‘Answers In Genesis’ and their theories. The Grand Canyon being formed shortly after the world wide flood of Noah’s day. After the turbulent waters laid down layer upon layer of silt, compressed and hardened, flat across continents, bending where land upheaval and colliding occurred, a natural dam of debris and ice was perhaps released, having held back a large
trapped body of inland water let loose and quickly carved out the canyon and carried the eroded debris far off.

But what if that map from Jaillot was correct? And the Grand Canyon wasn’t formed until recently? What if the YouTube Video from ‘Static In The Attic’ about 1812 was correct and there was massive catastrophe, the Madrid earthquakes were more severe then assumed that drastically changed the North American Continent more recently? What if the buildings in North America that are attributed to ingenious pioneers in wagon trains were built before they got there? What if the Red Sea existed in North America and doesn’t today? And what if if its basin was easier to cross than the Red Sea of the middle east? Why do our history books of North America deal mostly with the European explorer perspective?

Instead of asking the question “why would they lie?” (because we can imagine its out of their own ignorance, for control, or because they can,) the question we could really ask, and the one we can look deep inside ourselves to answer, is, “why do we believe them?”

Back to scripture.

“The message concerning Mitsrayim. See Yahuah is riding on a swift cloud, and He shall come into Mitsrayim. … And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river wasted and dried up.”

Isaiah 19:1, 5

Well, that answers one question about the river of Mitsrayim. It may not exist today. But the sea of Mitsrayim… the sea associated by name in the Bible with Mitsrayim, is the Red Sea. Did the waters fail from that too? Has our mainstream programming from Darwinian evolution and slow geological processes over millions of years made us blind to landscape changes, earthquakes, landslides, lahars, and to past massive world wide cultures?

In looking for evidence of the land, with scripture as our guide, what would we expect to see?

The Yarden river. Given the census count from Numbers 26 and particularly verse 53-54 “the land shall be divided for an inheritance according to the number of names. To many thou shall give more inheritance, and to few thou shall give less inheritance: to everyone shall his inheritance be given according to those that were numbered of him.” According to the population count, that would make roughly 81.6% of the land west of the Yarden river (assumed Jordan river) and 18.4% east of the Yarden river. Nine and a half tribes west, and two and a half east. (Joshua 13:7-8, Number 34:13-15) Which many may agree with, until they get to the details from Genesis 15:18 about the river from Mitsrayim to the River Perath. (Assumed Nile or dried up one, and assumed Euphrates). This indicates the entire land was divided thusly, with the Jordan more easterly, nearer Perath. Considering as well that during the reign of David and Solomon, we have confirmation that the entire promise land was established (1 Chronicles 18:3, 2 Chronicles 7:8). Does it seem even logical that the Jordan river in modern Israel is the biblical Yarden river? No.

The Great Sea. Then we also look for the Great Sea. It is assumed that the Mediterranean is the Great Sea. But why would we believe that? The God who sees all (Job 28:24), looking down on the earth would describe what sea as the Great Sea? The Western border. (Numbers 34:6) God gave commands to Moses, educated as a prince in Mitsrayim (Exodus 2:10) at a time when people were scattered the world over (Genesis 11:8), and most importantly educated by Yahuah, Himself. “And now, go, and I shall be with your mouth and teach you what to say.” (Exodus 4:12)

Other curious details of Paul’s sailing travels also leave one with questions of something doesn’t line up. Like Acts 27 the directions the wind was blowing them off course with the direction they were heading and the Sea they were blown into. The belief that people traveled extremely slowly back then isn’t verified by the text. Unless they had “sailed slowly many days” Acts 27:7 “They have passed by like swift ships, like an eagle swooping on its prey.” Job 9:26. Doesn’t sound like row boat technology to me. Traveling from the claimed location of Philippi to claimed location of Troas in five days. (Acts 20:6). We can use google maps to find travel times that it is a day to sail across, or five full days walking around that bay. Can we make the assumption that the boats were significantly slower then? And this may all be making the assumption that it was the Great Sea that Paul was sailing on. All we know is he was headed for Rome. Have we confirmed where Rome was at the time?

Rome … guessing here, the Hebrew letters Resh and Mem. Resh meaning “head, a person, what is highest or most important, chief.” Mem meaning “Water, mighty, massive, many chaos, to come from (like water down a stream).” One could argue that Rome meant the Capital. The authority. Do we have any biblical indication it was actually in modern Italy?

Look over the removed Acts 29, “which abode with him at Rome, and they took shipping at Ostium, and have the winds fair, were brought safely into a haven of Spain… and they departed out of Spain, and Pa’al and company finding a ship in Armorica sailed unto Britain…” If one questions where the land of Israel was, are the other places we “know” about also questionable? Was Rome in South America? Was Spain mentioned, what we know as New Spain? Was the ship found in Armorica because (new) Spain and Armorica were next to each other? Could Paul’s travels have taken him other places? Like Indonesia? Or the Caribbean? Which maps can we trust?

Main stream historians and archeologists will also make argument that the Mediterranean was land locked at a certain point, and the Straight of Gibraltar was a land bridge between Europe and Africa. The Salt Giants of the Mediterranean or the underwater coastal cities indicating the sea was lower due to high evaporation rates. All could be caused by the Mediterranean being cut off from the flow of the main oceans water, and have an effect on the sailing routes.

Something also to keep in mind when looking for the sea to the west of the land, is also in reading scripture we are given details with seasons change and variations. In the book of 1 Enoch, we are given description of the daylight to night variation in chapter 72 that Enoch experiences between summer solstice (of 16 hours daylight, 8 hours night/12 parts daylight, 6 parts night) to winter solstice (8 hours daylight, 16 hours night/6 parts day, 12 parts night). This indicating the latitude Enoch was at, while he also records being located north of where Elohim descends in 1 Enoch 77:2. As also in chapter 70 we are given the specifics of between the North and the West.

“After this the name of the Son of A’dam, living with YAHUAH TSEVA’OTH, was exalted by the inhabitants of the earth. It was exalted in the chariots of the RUACH; and
the name went forth in the midst of them. From that time I was not drawn in the midst of them, but he seated me between two ruachoth, between the north and the west, where the angels received their ropes, to measure out a place for the elect and righteous. There I beheld the fathers of the first men, and the qodeshiym, who dwell in that place forever.”

Whatever your thoughts are, on whether or not Enoch is scripture or historically compatible, if I was setting up a false land elsewhere, I would probably try and discredit Enoch. “Between the North and the West.”

But what else would we expect to see; would we expect to see geological changes?

Jerusalem and the Valley of Hinnom.

Daniel 9:26 “… and the people of a coming prince shall destroy the city and the set-apart place. And the end of it is with a flood. And wastes are decreed, and fighting until the end.”

Mark 13:2 “Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone shall be left upon another, that shall not be thrown down.” Please note, “buildings” is plural. It’s not just the temple.

Studying descriptions of locations in the Bible, consider the Valley of the son of Hinnom, (Ben Hinnom), a literal place recorded in the Bible, that consideration to how it is described should be done. Listed as a real place (Joshua 18:16, Nehemiah 11:30, Jeremiah 19: 2-6). It is described as south of Jerusalem, and east of a mountain, north of the valley of giants. (Joshua 15:8). A place where child sacrifice occurred. (2 Chronicles 28:3, 33:6, 2 Kings 23:10, Jeremiah 32:35). Also known as Topheth, and the valley of slaughter/death, a place of fire (Jeremiah 7:31-32). Other terms for this place, Ge-hinnom.

“For Tophet is ordained of old; yea, for the king it is prepared; he hath made it deep and large; the pile there of is fire and much wood (fuel); the breath of Yahuah, like a stream of brimstone doth kindle it.”

Isaiah 30:33

Notice how Yahusha/Jesus, who often spoke in parables, used a literal place the people would recognize: (the valley of Hinnom) Gehinnom as a term for a metaphorical comparison to the lake of fire.

Fire that would never be quenched. (Mark 9:43). “Cast into Gehinnom.” (Luke 12:5). Death and Sheol (grave/hell) thrown into the lake of fire. (Revelations 20:8b, 14-15). Fire and brimstone, smoke ascendeth up forever. (Revelations 14:10-11). Considering the comparisons to be made that the fire in this place was seemingly an unquenchable fire… that lasted from the time of 2 Kings and still at the time Yahusha/Jesus was describing to the people there… Traditionally this place has been taught to be a place where they burned garbage. Today a cute little valley with a park and housing near by. But does the Bible truly describe it that way? What can we conclude the valley of Hinnom really looked like? Or would look like today?

But as the Valley of Hinnom was just south of Jerusalem and the land of Edom was south of the promise land, what does the Bible describe would happen to those places. As mentioned previously, not one stone left on another in Jerusalem and wiped out with a flood. And in Jeremiah 19:11-15 “make this city as Topheth: … Behold, I will bring upon this city and upon the necks, that they might not hear my words.”

“And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields of the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the Lord; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever.”

Jeremiah 31:40

And the land of Edom, from Isaiah 34:8-13 “its stream turn to pitch, Smoke goes up forever, from generation to generation it will be desolate. None pass through. Emptiness. Thorns will overgrow its fortified towers. It will also be a haunt of jackals and an abode of ostriches.”

I laugh remembering the timing of looking at these verses. My children randomly watching the cartoon of Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner. Coyotes are faster then road runners, so it technically never made any sense. But jackals are slower than the larger ostriches. And the cartoon takes place in Death Valley. A Valley of Death. Whether or not that is the same place is somewhat beside the point. Hollywood loves doing little ‘in plain sight’ nods to the truth. A jackal. An ostrich. The Valley of the Dead. Makes one think. Ubehebe crater, known by the natives as “Tem-pin-tta-Wo’sah” meaning Coyote’s Basket is a region of volcanic activity.

However, in considering the historical sources for Jerusalem, what do we look for? A name on a map? There are allegedly a bunch of old Jerusalem’s throughout the world. The one in Palestine, Israel of course; Mannheim, Germany; Tenochtitlan, Mexico; unidentified city in Italy; one in Peru and one in North America or Tartary. And maybe in south Africa as well. When reviewing the historic past, of a place that was destroyed. What can we look for?

“They that trust in Yahuah shall be as Mount Tsiyon, which cannot be removed, but abides forever. As the mountains are around Yerushalyim, so Yahuah is around about his people from henceforth even forever.”

Psalm 125:1-2

Other verses as well indicate mountains around, while the argument that they are really hills has been made, I get a different impression from the grandeur of Psalm 48. “…. In the mountain of his holiness. Beautiful for situation (elevation/height), the joy of the whole earth … For, lo, the kings were assembled, they passed by together. They saw it, and so they marvelled; they were troubled, and hasted away. … Walk about Zion, and go around about her: tell the towers thereof. Mark ye well her bulwarks, consider her
palaces; that ye may tell it to the generation following.”

Where are the mountains around? Was the valley of Hinnom volcanic in nature? “The end with a flood.” What geological forces were truly at work. Landslides? Mud floods? With Ninevah we read it was so:

“Mountains have shaken before Him, and the hills have melted. And the earth is lifted up at His presence, and the world and all who dwell in it… But with an overwhelming flood He makes a complete end of the place of Ninevah, and darkness does pursue His enemies.”

Nahum 1:5,8

If one eliminates all the ‘educational history’ books and Hollywood movie programming of what the place had looked like, and does look like, what would we expect to see, but something buried and destroyed? Nebuchadnezzar’s Babylonian Kingdom. What evidence will we see for this?

This may seem like an odd question, there are obviously ruins where Babylon is believed to be. Therefore, that must be the ruins of Babylon. Well no.

Ezra took four months to travel from the city of Babylon to Jerusalem and made well with his journey. (Ezra 7:6-10) Google gives the assumed distances roughly 224 hours to walk. If one walked for only 8 hours a day, rested every sabbath. If he didn’t walk on a sabbath. 28 days of walking, 5 weeks. Bible said he took 4 months. Was then the distance between Jerusalem and the city of Babylon a lot further apart?

In Daniel 2:19-49 we are given a description of a prophetic dream that Nebuchadnezzar has.

“Thou, of king (Nebuchadnezzar), art a king of kings: for the God of heaven hath given thee a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory. And wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the fowls of the heaven hath he given into thine hand, and hath made thee ruler over them all. Thou art this head of gold.”

Daniel 2: 37 – 38

Wheresoever the children of men dwell.

Must be a Hebrew idiom that means only the corner of the world they know about. Right. Because they were uneducated, primitive people. I’ll pass on that theory. The kingdom is described as the most glorious one and the others after it will be lesser in glory.

Perhaps if we understood that ancient archeology had similar architecture worldwide. From what we call Roman-Greco architecture to pyramids to star forts. To understanding very old world wide maps, with different coastlines. To understanding how Solomon’s fleets of ships brought gold from Ophir every three years, (1 Kings 10:22) and how far they could have traveled.

The Chaldeans or Babylonians, however your translation says it, from Isaiah 43:14, “rejoice in their ships.” Does it seem logical at all that their ships may have something to do with traveling across the seas controlling more than just the small area that we are told they possessed?

Visiting my parent’s home, I was scanning the book shelves for interesting subject matters. The mainstream history of Ancient ships and shipwrecks… American archeology… books from the gift shops of the American National parks we had visited for family holidays. Is there a reason the first chapter in the Ancient ship and shipwrecks book dealt with the ports by Caesarea in Israel? Of all the places in the world, that is where the book began. They choose to mention as well how difficult it was to build there as the erosion from the winds of the Mediterranean made creating the harbor difficult.

“Zebulun dwells at the seashore, he is a haven for ships, and his border is unto Tsidon.”

Genesis 49:13

How many maps will incorrectly place Zebulun’s territory inland? Is there a reason that South and Central American ruins were trashed by the greedy Spanish conquistadors
before our modern age of European archeologists could get to investigate them? And records of their alphabet seem to be missing? Is there a reason that mummies, giants and much of North American ancient remains found are hush hushed away into the vaults of the Smithsonian Institute?

Is there more to the mining activity in the western United States and restricted zones? Were they looking for buried artifacts? Or perhaps there’s more to the mummies that were found in the Grand Canyon? Are there still tar pits in the land (Genesis 14:10)? Cliff dwellings (Numbers 24:21, Obadiah 1:3)? Flood plains to the east (Joshua 24:2)?

Isn’t it curious how animals like Rhinoceros (Job 39:9-12 unicorn/wild ox), ostriches (Job 39:13) and camels (Genesis 24:64) were found fossilized in North America?

“Wait a minute, we have proof that it was in middle east!”

Do you though…?

“The split rock of Mount Horeb! Its evidence of God’s providence to the people in giving them water.”

The “rock” is from Hebrew Strongs #6697 Tsur, which denotes a rock as a cliff. Not a propped-up rock that could have been cut with a water saw tool. In everything that occurred do you honestly believe it sat like this for all that time?

“They found Hezekiah’s seal! It was an amazing once in a lifetime find.”

Coins, moveable relics, modern Hebraic letters carved in ruins. How is that proof? And if it was the land, any concern with why they say a find like that is so rare?

“Hezekiah’s tunnel! I was there.”

I’ll agree there are old buildings and tunnels in that area. Not sure why that would prove it is the same tunnel that Hezekiah made. Same with the wailing wall. Old buildings.

“The Dead Sea scrolls. You don’t think they are fake, do you?”

As the outcome of ‘finding’ the scrolls was to add to their political religious support for a region, its believable that real ancient documents were planted in that area.

“What about Petra? Those carved buildings. I guess you think they belong to some other ancient people.”

Honestly, I’m not sure how we can know how old that really is? It was “discovered” in 1812. I am suspect it isn’t as old as claimed. The Sionists bought that Jerusalem in 1825, and had plenty of time poking around the region before and after to set some things up. Besides the ruins, that really were old, that could have been from a people who had a scriptural based culture, why not add a few more for the tourism industry?

“Well, I believe its there because God is faithful!”

So where does He say it is?

“‘Between the Nile and the Euphrates.’ Genesis 15:18”

Those are just redrawn maps and that’s not the original translated place names either.

“(block)”

The above may have a been an accumulation of a few different events and not word for word. If you have read thus far, still disagree with the implications of my questions and investigations but aren’t angry, I can respect you. I’m searching for truth, and the evidence that has been presented for the middle east as the location, could easily be argued to be moved into place or manufactured.

In the 1986 article posted in the New York Times by Fouad Ajami: “Living Among Their Enemies” he quotes Mr. Benvenisti (emphasis mine): “who devoted his life to creating a new Hebrew map of Israel. “Changing place names in order to arrive at a Hebrew map of Eretz Israel was considered by my father a sacred task.” Mr. Benvenisti writes. Growing up in the crucial decade before 1948, he remembers accompanying his father on his Sabbath expeditions as he went about his work of studying the topography of the land, of giving Hebrew names to new Jewish settlements… “The Hebrew map of Israel constitutes one stratum in my consciousness, underlaid by another stratum of the previous Arab map.” He writes… “I can’t help but reflect on the irony that my father, by taking me on his trips and hoping to instill in me the love of our Hebrew homeland… imprinted in my memory, along with the new names, the names he wished to eradicate. In the tale of this father and son, the map makers hand had to be steady; the work of creating a new Jewish state had to be done without qualms and without equivocation.”

How easy it is to rename and redraw a map from a time that none of us can go back and verify what the locals thought. Or what the local language called the cities and ruins. Or how old they really are. As a news article from 1829 reported, and also the Belfour declaration along with the protocols of Sion. That Sionist influence was in that region for even longer. They had a long enough time and influence in the region of modern Israel to create or rename any “ancient” sites and try to fit them as best as they could into the
biblical description. While educating generations to fit a paradigm of their choosing. Their literature even referring to the middle east version as either a ‘Jewish Colony’ or ‘Holy Land’, which simply means ‘setapart land.’

Also some consideration should be given to what was happening in North America during this time. IF it is true that a switch was pulled, there would be some evidence of digging up moveable artifacts in North America and relocating them to Israel and perhaps other odd activity. Were they looking for artifacts? Did they move anything over?

National parks, like Yo-Semite, were guarded and run by the military until World War One. Abandoned mines and left over ghost towns now in Nevada. Scotty’s Castle in Death Valley with its Crests and double headed eagle symbols lends to international interests in the area. “Weapons testing ranges” in the Badlands of South Dakota. “Egyptian” mummies found in the Grand Canyon. Shipping fig trees from California to Israel to help replant the land and revive the landscape. Taking and transporting the embryos of North American breed of Red Angus Cattle and breeding the desired Red Heifer for their religious ceremony. (Number 7:3, 19:2)

Maybe those all seem like standard procedure and the government would never lie to us.

It’s supposedly been over 500 years since Copernicus said the earth is a spinning globe. In 1492 the first globe model was made by German mapmaker Martin Behaim, according to google that is. In 1492, Columbus sailed the ocean blue. What are the chances! The same year. If the governments and power hungry of the world lied to or distracted the people, they may just bend the truth more then just once in the same year. They might also enslave the learned people and re-educate the children in boarding schools away from their parents and even genocide a people that could serve as witnesses that lived in the land prior to their arrival. Annihilation through assimilation. The slow and steady change.

What was North America like before the European settlers came?

I could discuss the photographic findings of a plenty of researchers, like Jon Levi, of repurposed grand buildings, and world’s fairs, or how the now deleted Curious Life YouTube channel discussed the early railway lines, tunnels, and prison constructions, or how the natives lived over ruins that they didn’t know who built it. But that is something that can lend to any ancient civilization living on the North American continent. And not specifically to the people of Yashar’el and their surrounding nations and their descendants.

I will direct my attention to the traditions of the North America native cultures that existed on the continent. Prior to the European influences the Native American tribes had maintained traditions that seem very easy to parallel to the biblical culture of the ancient Israel (Yashar’el). As well as aspects of their language that parallel the original biblical Hebrew, without the added vowel point system per also the claimed revival of Hebrew by one man, Eliezer Ben Yehuda in the mid 1800’s. Evidence is there that the native’s of America introduced a new alphabet, example by Chief Sequoyah of the Cherokee roughly around this time period as well. Just an odd ‘coincidence.’

People can move around.

I am aware of this, and this isn’t to be used as proof, but consideration of what is actually revealed in the untrustworthy recorded history. As reported in the book “The Ten Lost Tribes of Israel” by Timothy R. Jenkins, I’ve compiled a list of observations made by the early European explorers. While Mr. Jenkins initially describes the middle eastern version of the land as the original location, he does make mention later on to “read this book carefully.” Whether he intentionally started his book with the modern land as a
diversion for publication purposes or he truly believed that part, I do not know. But we also can look at his references of explorers like Bartram, Du Pratz, Col. John Smith as well where we are given recorded glimpses of what life was like in the 1600’s – 1700’s for the Native Americans, and the strong parallels to the biblical culture prior to the European influence.

Understanding the Scriptural traditions and commandments would present many obvious parallels to be drawn:

“They were kind to their neighbours and strangers, respectful of elders, waiting until one was done speaking without interrupting, loving to their wives, “never beat her or even reproving her in anger”

“When we had plenty of green corn and roasting ears, the hunters became lazy and spent their time in singing and dancing. They appeared to be fulfilling the scriptures, beyond many of those who profess to believe them, in taking no thought for to-morrow, but living in love, peace and friendship, without disputes. In this last respect they are an example to those who profess Christianity.” (Col. John Smith 1698-1783)

“Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations.”

Numbers 15:38

The fringed traditional garments of the natives would fit this description.

Their “leaders” (sachems) and captains are generally poorer than the common people for the affect to give away and distribute presents or plunder, but hold generally to a Theocracy government.

Observed a calendar, the first month of their year beginning at the first appearance of the new moon at the vernal equinox. Within this first month they had their largest celebration of the year, a first fruits in which a buck was killed and the bones not broken. Later observing a hunting festival and in the fall a harvest festival after observing an annual atonement for sins where the arhi-magus, their beloved man or high priest clothed himself in a white garment made of finely dressed deer or doe skin.

They observed a weekly sabbath, sacred to the Great Spirit. Which was a different day than the “white man’s” sabbath. They had practiced physical circumcision. They had cities of refuge for a murderer to run to and be protected from the avenger of blood. They would not eat either the Mexican hog, or the sea-cow, or the turtle, as Gumilla & Edwards informs us; but they held them in greatest abhorrence. Neither would they eat the eel; or any animal or bird they deemed impure. They didn’t eat the meat under the lower joint of the thigh of an animal. They used a standard/symbol for their tribe as an animal, such as an eagle, panther (as was their lion), etc… but no special religious respect for the animal itself. (Reading books like the Testaments of the Twelve Patriarchs and Enoch, I found it really easy to envision the use of animal metaphors as being somewhat related to this practice).

They had ancient stories about man being formed from clay and the Great Spirit blowing on him to give him life, about an original brother killing another, a great flood, and language confusion, and “some claimed a book the white man had, was originally theirs.”

Before war or hunting they had preparatory religious ceremonies for purification, particularly fasting with the commander paying attention to his dreams, use of smoke pipe as a form of incense, abstaining from marital relations prior, and also had a wooden chest, an ark like box that would be carried during a battle. When returning from a battle victorious, they would sing a triumphant song to the Great Spirit Y. O. He. wah. ascribing the glory to Him.

Various funeral customs such as hiring women to wail for the dead. And mourning that involved covering their hand over their mouth. Belief in an afterlife, where when one dies, they go to “sleep” for a while. Belief in “little spirits” who are always before the Great Spirit, ready to execute His pleasure with extreme diligence.

Belief in a great wicked spirit that the Great Spirit has bound forever.

Tradition states their forefathers, by the extraordinary divine Spirit could foretell & prophesy things to come, and this would continue, provided they obeyed the sacred laws.

When an older Indian believes it is probable to die soon, he gathers his family to hear his last counsel that he has for each of them. (Sounds similar to the Testament of the Twelve Patriarchs). They were never known to pay the least perceivable adoration to images or dead persons, or to celestial luminaries, or evil spirits, or to any created being whatever. (Whatever some Spanish writer may say to the contrary to cover their own blood-thirsty & more savage barbarity to the natives they found in Mexico).

“As like still today, when a nation’s leader desires to go to war, they must portray the enemy in an unfavorable manner to garnish the added support from its citizens and soldiers.”

“Historians ought not to be trusted, as to detailed accounts of these people, with whom it seems to have been previously agreed among themselves, to charge with being red savages and barbarians, while the Indians, in return, consider us as white savages and accursed people, those who thus traduce them. Readers should carefully examine into their own means of knowledge-their connection with the Indians, and the length of time and opportunities they enjoy in a social intercourse with them.” The native genocides and boarding schools, other aspects to consider of how some of them may have little remembrance of what once was their history generations ago.”

Further to consider, is why they were called “Indians” in the first place. Columbus looking for India seems like an odd reasoning that was popularized.

As the story goes, Italian Columbus recording Greek in his margins Ινδία.

We know the Greek “v” makes the English “n” sound. India. Yet the Latin “v” makes the English “u” sound. Ivdia = Iudea. And as there is no J in Hebrew. Our English “Judea” is the Hebrew Yehudah Latin “Iudea” which looks a lot like the Greek “India.”

Columbus writing a Latin Iudia could be read in Greek as India. Not to forget Utah was named for the Ute natives… Language and translations are a curious thing. What is possible? Indians… Yudeans… Another oddity of the Columbus tale, was when I was listening to a video by a man who was very much, very pro-modern state of Israel being the land. He was where I first heard that Columbus was sent in search of Solomon’s gold. Things like this add to the questions regarding the location.

As I re-read scripture, taking the time to re-envision the Scriptural historic narrative with a slightly varied culture, and a varied setting and climate was something rather easy to do. From the small bow and arrows to the entire world and the creation of light and time and a day.

Genesis 1

“And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness. And God called the light Day, and the darkness He called Night. And the evening and the morning were the first day.”

Genesis 1:3-5

The light was created. And divided from the darkness. Day and Night. As we envision the whole world, we recognize that there was both light and dark at the same time. As it is observable there is day somewhere always, would how a day is timed be influenced by where the first created light was positioned? From what perspective location would someone be located at when they first observed evening and then morning of the first day?

After the 3rd daylight was “past”, the world experiencing day light 3 times. God made the lights to govern the day. The sun was created and shone in a particular location first, in that first week. Similar question; where did the sun first shine upon? The timing of the observing first night or first day is based on the perspective from a particular location. The flag of Japan, with its sobriquet: ‘Land of the Rising Sun’ is something to consider. Were ancient cultures familiar with that being the accepted location of where the sun first rose?

As during the summer months in Western Canada, I look over at the sun still visible above the western horizon on the sixth day of the week, and realize, the people of Japan, have already started the seventh day. Underneath the same daylight, they are on a different day. Something, like the international date line, would need to occur somewhere.

Can we take into consideration the modern international date line as an indication of what is reliable as a day?

Consider what the scripture says about the Sabbath day:

“Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant. It is a sign between me and the children of Israel forever: for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested and was refreshed.”

Exodus 31:16-17

“…who guard the Sabbath, and not profane it, and are holding onto My Covenant.

Isaiah 56:6b

Would we not conclude that the seventh day then has been preserved for us, by a power greater than the cunning of men? And as such, could we then logically conclude that the timing of “days”, as the light portion, have been preserved for us as well?

With the changing twelve o’clock midnight, and those seeking to change ‘days’ and times, they wouldn’t be able to usurp the Covenant of a sabbath day, as it is God’s covenant, and by default they couldn’t change the day itself. They could only change how we view a day and a week and provide assumptions about locations in our mind.

I had listened to the debates and reviewed scripture; “when does a day begin?” Evening to evening? Morning to morning? Morning to evening? and the reasons why. My general understanding is that the daylight is the “day” but the one full cycle of the sun, was observed from evening to evening. There may be disagreements, but the point I’m addressing is, what exact location would the scriptural writer be observing it as evening to evening. I haven’t sorted out any scientifically observable way to determine the starting location of the sun. It would be rather interesting to hear if someone knew of any.

Tying back to Genesis, the observing evening, the glimmer on the horizon, to then night, and then morning of a day. If we recall the start of the year was around the spring equinox (Exodus 12:2) and if we look at the currently established dates and days, considering the supernatural preservation of a day, despite altered perceptions, would it not be from the location of western North America, particularly western modern mainland United States, that would be observing this? As the sun goes away from there, and as the sun has reached zenith roughly on the international date line? Such so, that the international date line would actually be serving to maintain the timing of the daylight cycles and their count?

Do we believe that God gave a covenant of a Sabbath day to us?

Do we believe that God is greater than the cunning of men?

Do we understand that some men have served evil in distractions and psychodramas?

Do we believe scripture indicates a day is over by the disappearing of the daylight?

If the answer is yes to these four questions, what can I then conclude but that the scripture of the creation of light was written from the perspective of one located in North America?

Faraway Land

All right. Let’s get down to a theory about hidden history. About World History. Continuing on the concept that Nebuchadnezzar’s kingdom was a world wide one and there was subsequent world wide kingdoms after him. And also addressing the obvious that yes, there is archeology in modern Israel. In Iran. In Algeria. In Brazil. In Mexico. In China. There were people everywhere.

“… and from there Yahuah scattered them over the face of all the earth.”

Genesis 11:9b

Not that long ago, old maps depict a lusher north African region, where the Sahara Desert now lies. Modern scholars, while disagreeing on the more recent timeline I’m proposing, suggest it was a “fairly quick” transition to the desert it is today. Evidences of young whale bones dried up, far away from the sea shore, massive Sulphur build up, sandstone, and the Mediterranean being one of the saltiest bodies of water in the world with giant salt deposits.

Consider these words from Deuteronomy 29:

“And the generation to come of your children who rise up after you, and the foreigner who comes from a far land, shall say when they see the plagues of that land and the sicknesses which Yahuah has sent into it: All its land is sulphur, salt, and burning; it is not sown, nor does it bear, nor does any grass grow there, like the overthrow of Seḏom and Amorah, Aḏmah and Tseḇoyim, which Yahuah overthrew in His displeasure and His wrath.’ And all nations shall say, ‘Why has Yahuah done so to this land? What does the heat of this great displeasure mean?’” “And it shall be said, ‘Because they have forsaken the covenant of Yahuah Elohim of their fathers, which He made with them when He brought them out of the land of Mitsrayim. And they went and served other mighty ones and bowed themselves to them, mighty ones that they did not know and that He had not given to them, therefore the displeasure of Yahuah burned against this land (in context of what is being said about that land), to bring on it every curse that is written in this book. And Yahuah uprooted them from their land in displeasure, and in wrath, and in great rage, and cast them into another land, as it is today.’”

Deuteronomy 29:22-28

That land was:

A far land, from where the instructions of Deuteronomy were being given.

A land in which similar destruction to that of Sodom and Gomorrah experienced with sulphur, salt and burning. (A different land then Sodom and Gomorrah).

Where green no longer grew.

This was a large event and destruction that all nations noticed.

What also happens to those who provoke God, that sacrificed to devils? “I would scatter them into corners, I would make the remembrance of them to cease from among men:” (Deuteronomy 32:26) The remembrance of them would cease. So what if the Sahara Desert and Middle East be evidence of a land and people of the past that was destroyed? And ceased from remembrance?

Could that have been a destruction event in Northern Africa that may be linked to the noxious gases that affected Europe for months in what we call the “Black Death” period?

We do not worship the land

What am I left with to think where the original promise land was?

If I look through scripture, understanding that place names have changed… That places and landscapes have changed… If I comb through man written history… If I understand interpretations of biblical prophesy may have been slanted by assumptions… If some of the various theories and understandings on biblical prophesy have been slanted… That people have set up tourist attractions, that what we see in modern Israel could be an archeological Disneyrael hype set up… That the Jordan river doesn’t fit the description of the Yarden for tribal divisions… For it to be, then the entire land of Israel would be maybe the size of New York City… If I consider the western border of the Great Sea” could not be the Mediterranean… If I understand that people have repeated lies because they believed they were true… That moveable trinkets or relics don’t constitute proof and we don’t know if they weren’t planted there or even moved there long ago from shipping trade routes… That people have blind faith in a political Israel, believing it to be “God’s land.” So much so that their sons are sent as soldiers and die to protect it.

What am I left with to give me reason to believe it was where they say in the Middle East?

Is there a curse of blindness to not see these aspects that seem out of place to the mainstream narrative? Is there anywhere it says we need to believe that land was the land? We were told it was destroyed. We are warned not to trust men. We are given instruction on how to live our lives. To care for the land we are given, not to idolize a particular land. For as interests in learning and searching for truth and understanding knowledge goes, it can be very intriguing and exhausting; but with all the books and history handed down and we are also given the scriptures, to whom are we trusting and obeying?

Search out to see if these things be true.
