JUST about everyone gets the identity of the Whore of Babylon wrong and I can’t fault them for it. I did too for the longest time. Had Revelation been covered at nearly any other point during my adult life I would have sat here and made a Semiramis connection, seeing as how the woman from Yochanon’s book exhumes all the familiar markings of the Mystery religions. And in turn, the Mystery religions ultimately derive from Babylon, obviously. I don’t think that explanation is wrong. It’s simply not the whole of it when in fact the most obvious explanation has been slapping and assaulting us throughout the Prophets. I dropped your very first clue early on when speaking about the destruction of Shalomah’s Temple. The destruction of Herod’s Temple was a repeated event, and why is that?
