The Revelation: You’re Living It

by | Jul 24, 2020

WHENEVER someone asks me why I believe what I believe I always half-joke and tell them that I committed the one unforgivable sin:

I read the whole book from front to back.

I confess. I’m guilty.

You see, when I first came to understand that there was such a thing as sin – I mean we all inherently understand this – and our relation to the Father because of that sin, it wasn’t in a church setting. It was by simple conversation with a loved one while driving around in my ‘65 Chevelle when I was 15.

Grand times.

Little did he know it then, but the man talking to me about this Jesus fellow probably gave me the greatest advice of all time. I doubt he even fully understood it himself. It wasn’t the need for repentance. That much was obvious. It wasn’t the story of the cross, although that was truly an important part. No, he told me that I needed to get into the Word and get the Word into me.

What and epiphany!

Actually, I kind of laughed inside when I thought about it. I mean, duh, right? Christians believe in the Bible so therefore every Christian has read the thing, obviously.

Oh, how wonderfully naïve I was.

We read every other book from cover to cover, front to back, and yet the Bible is almost solely treated differently. I won’t go off on that particular trail right now, perhaps at another time.

I guess my point is I didn’t really come with any baggage attached into this new life. I wasn’t bound to any “ism” or this or that theology. Surely that would come in time as I sought to learn and oh did it muddy the waters greatly, but by then it would ultimately be too late. I would have shamelessly read through the text several times over with wanton abandon.

The Most High had already gotten to me.

When you read through there’s immediate questions. So many questions. Some obvious, some not so. You realize you didn’t just dive into the deep end of the pool, you dove into Mariana’s Trench. But one thing becomes clear as you read. There is a plumb line. A thread that stretches through time and you can clearly see how the Most High operates with His creation and where He draws His line.

The rest is simple. You’re either on His side of that line or you aren’t. History, His-story plays out regardless of whether or not we understand that fact. And most of what passes for Christendom either merely flirts with that line, straddles it or outright steers clear of it.

It’s basically insane to look at “the church” after actually reading the text it claims to rely on and derive from. It creates instant cognitive dissonance.

So when I first read The Revelation I just understood it as the end of the book. Much like Genesis begins in a bit of a curt fashion, giving some summary lessons here and there and then honing in on specific things, so too does the closing Apocalyptic vision given to John.

It’s kinda rough to read through, but you can clearly hear the echoes if you’ve read the book from the beginning. It hearkens back to everything that was written previously. In fact, out of the 404 man-made verses of The Revelation, 278 are references or allusions to what we style the Old Testament.

So if you haven’t read through because your church is a “Bible believing New Testament church” and your pastor told you that you only need Romans through Philemon…well…then I guess you shouldn’t bother.

Or just go read Left Behind.

For me, when I read it, our Messiah’s words were still ringing in my ears. He had just made basically the mother of all prophecies a little ways back. The Temple that is so central to the entire book, is going to come crashing down! The mother city is going to be destroyed!

“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem who kills the prophets and stones those sent to her! How often I longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing!Look, your house is left to you desolate! For I tell you, you will never see me again until you say, ‘Baruch ha-ba b’shem Adonai. Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!’”

“Now when Yahusha went out and was going away from the Temple, His disciples came up to point out to Him the Temple buildings. ‘Don’t you see all these?’ He responded to them. ‘Amein, I tell you, not one stone will be left here on top of another—every one will be torn down!’ As He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to Him privately, saying, ‘Tell us, when will these things happen? What will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?'”

Yahusha goes on to give a summary of bad things that are gonna happen. And stat. They didn’t understand at first then and, sadly, we still largely don’t understand now. We’re too busy inventing new ‘isms’ and denominations. Or worse.

Things were immediately going to begin to happen and continue to happen right up until the very end. Keep reading the book. Our king and high priest gives us hints if we continue reading in Matthew. He mentions Daniel the prophet.

Go read that if you haven’t. Read it again, if you have.

Do the empires that make up the statue in Daniel’s vision take a pause? Is there ever a time when there isn’t a reigning empire up until the time the stone not cut out by human hands comes and dashes the statue to pieces? No.

We read Daniel as history now. We can clearly see how things have played out. It’s why so-called scholars so vigorously deny that Daniel was written when it says it was written because the way history played out is too uncanny.

Daniel is told twice to seal up the words of the vision and prophecy because it is distant future for him. A third time he’s told,

“Go your way, Daniel, because the words are rolled up and sealed until the time of the end.”

We seem to understand explicitly what the sealing up of the prophecy means. We have no trouble discerning that the events Daniel was shown would happen in the future. We intuit that “time of the end” is not The End – end.

But when confronted with similar language from our Messiah we try to play a game with his Revelation. What if we’re reading it all wrong and it’s a summary of the events to come right up until the end?

That would mean it started playing out in the first century and the film’s been rolling this entire time. It also means that some of it is past, we’re obviously living it out now in our present and some of it is surely still future.

Let the screams of Heretic! and Preterist! Begin. I’ll wait.

Done now? Ok. Take off your mask, breathe and we’ll continue.

Actually, according to the label-makers my position would be classified as Historicist.

But I care not one wit for labels. And neither should you. Let your ‘yes’ be yes and your ‘no’ be no. Let the text speak for and interpret itself.

The disciples were expecting judgement in their time. They knew the end of the age was coming. How? Because Ha Mashiach told them so.

Do not be confused. This was not the end of all time. The “Coming of the Son of Man” is a term pregnant with meaning. Prophecies have to be fulfilled in their time and Yahusha made an unthinkable prediction when he said that the Temple would be destroyed.

First things first. An age was coming to a close and another age was beginning.

“But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then recognize that her desolation is near. Then those in Judea must flee to the mountains, and those inside the city must get out, and those in the countryside must not enter her. For these are the days of punishment, to fulfill all that has been written. Woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days! For there will be great distress in the land and wrath on this people. They will fall by the edge of the sword and be led away captive into all the nations. Jerusalem will be trampled by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.”

Jerusalem had to be destroyed along with the Temple because that had already been spoken and written. Prophecy doesn’t happen in a vacuum. What else must happen before the Kingdom can come down? The times of the Gentiles must be fulfilled. Do not miss it. He told us this elsewhere:

“Destroy this Temple,” Yahusha answered them, “and in three days I will raise it up.”

Now you’ll say, wait, wait, hold the phone. He was talking about his body.

The text does say he was talking about his body, yes, but is that the only thing Messiah had in mind? He had just purged the physical Temple of money changers and thieves. We’re told that even the disciples remembered that Zeal for your house will consume me!

The Pharisees and leaders asked him about the sign he was showing them by doing these things he was doing. Yahusha said destroy the Temple and in three days he will raise it up.

In three days Ha Mashiach will raise it up. Not the Sanhedrin in Jerusalem. No Zionist corporation, institution or government. Of course he was alluding to the fact they were gonna kill him. But he was also still preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom.

Not only is Yahusha the master of the wind and waves, but he’s also the master of the double entendre.

Yahusha. The stone cut out but not from human hands.

Something else you may not have heard. History has not quite reached the 6000th year. 7000 have been decreed. The Revelation gives us a short summary of the last thousand years. Again, the label-makers have dubbed it the “Millennium”. It is the beginning of the Kingdom coming down. But there’s still an end to that age as well. It is the Sabbath rest that is required by the Father but has been neglected by men.

Track with me. 7000 years. Ha Mashiach was known by the sages and prophets to come on the 4th day. How do you think the Magi of the East knew about the star and when and where it would be? Herod knew that his crown was a fraud and the true king was slated to come. Why do you think the Pharisees and leaders of Judea had to discredit and kill the sent one? Because they knew at that time that it was foretold that Ha Mashiach would come. Yahusha did come on that day. And he spoke about it ending and the days of the Gentiles beginning and being fulfilled. Days 5, 6 and 7.

“Destroy this Temple,” Yahusha answered them, “and in three days I will raise it up.”

Two thousand years and then the Sabbath Rest for the whole earth. The Millennium.

Those who have eyes to see and ears to hear.

Now I suppose we come to the crux of the matter. If The Revelation has been unfolding then assuredly the next questions come flying: Then what things have happened that mark the different judgements? When has XYZ seal, bowl or trumpet judgement occurred? Where are the two witnesses?

Pick your chapter and verse and rinse/repeat.

And there’s the trap. That’s where we go off the rails. Trying to pin the tail on the donkey all the while not realizing that we still have the blindfold on. The truth of the Gospel of the Kingdom of YHWH was true in the first century, true 1500 years ago, a month ago, yesterday, today, tomorrow and forever. We live in our time now. Same Gospel given to Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob. The promise.

The plumb line.

So does that mean that we should just punt then? Not exactly. We should be very hesitant to speculate and very eager to let the Spirit guide us into all truth. But, for the sake of saying we tried, let’s take a look see and go over what we do know and what’s just fiction.

The view that prophecy was going to play out at appointed times is nothing new. The earlier apocalyptic writings like Enoch, Daniel, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, Ezra, Baruch and others had already paved the way for the people of Israel and into the Judaism of Yahusha’s day. This continued on with the disciples and early “church fathers” and other historians.

What does the book of Hebrews say? That believers should not abandon meeting together and to continue to encourage one another and all the more so now. Why? Because they and we can see the Day approaching. Which day? The day. The Day of YHWH. The day of rest. The day after the Gentile’s time comes to an end. The day that the Kingdom is rightfully restored and our true king and high priest administers justice and mercy upon all.

What did James have to say on the matter? That the people of his day – that he was writing to – should strengthen their hearts and have patience because the coming of Adonai was near. He understood. And yet he also exclaimed they should have the endurance of Job. They would suffer loss in this life before being restored at the resurrection.

Peter says, “Now the end of all things is near.” I hate to break it to you but he was writing to a first century audience, not me and you. It’s applicable for us but it wasn’t written to us.

Set what you think about the date of writing of The Revelation aside. Regardless of pre or post-Patmos John already knew what was going on.

“Loved ones, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see if they are from YHWH. For many false prophets have gone out into the world. You know the Ruach Elohim by this—every spirit that acknowledges that Messiah Yahusha has come in human flesh is from YHWH, but every spirit that does not acknowledge Yahusha is not from YHWH. This is the spirit of the anti-messiah, which you have heard is coming and now is already in the world.”

“For many deceivers have gone out into the world—those who do not acknowledge Yahusha as Messiah coming in human flesh. This one is a deceiver and the anti-messiah.”

Our favorite Roman apologist Josephus fingered that empire as the fourth kingdom of Daniel 2. Clement of Alexandria, Jerome, Tertullian, Irenaeus all believed similarly. Even concluding that Rome would break up in the future into ten smaller kingdoms, which it did, and would be toes of iron mixed with clay.

This continued, by and large, up through the Reformation. Time marched on and The Revelation continued to unfold. They understood the lawlessness of the Papacy. They understood that the empire had broken up but continued on in an altogether different fashion.

Many do not understand that the older Pagan Roman Empire didn’t really fall. The sacking of Rome wasn’t a traditional sack. Rome wasn’t destroyed. And with the East/West split – the two legs of the statue – there was a natural declination and really just a movement away from what it was in the 1st century and into the “Holy Roman Empire” and its subsequent vassal kingdoms that all vied and perhaps used the same titles.

Fun Fact: Kaiser, as in Kaiser Wilhelm of Germany, means “Caesar” in German. Likewise with Tsar in Russian – now modernly, Czar. Probably just a coincidence. Probably too, just a coincidence that Charlemagne of France took up the mantle as the Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire. Probably.

Martin Luther had this to say of the Pope:

“This teaching shows forcefully that the Pope is the very Antichrist, who has exalted himself above, and opposed himself against Christ, because he will not permit Christians to be saved without his power, which, nevertheless, is nothing, and is neither ordained nor commanded by God”

This belief and understanding that the time was at hand and would continue to be right up until the very end was the de facto understanding. I could go on and on. Wesley, Knox, Williams, Zwingli, Tyndale, Calvin all understood and minced no words regarding the beast who was already on the scene and had been for quite some time. So what happened? Why in the 20th and 21st centuries do we not know this?

Because the empire always strikes back.

After the assault on and utter obviousness of Rome-as-beast gained ground, The Powers That Should Not Be could not allow that to be sustained.  M.L. Moser, in his book An Apologetic of Premillenialism says it succinctly:

“Jesuit scholarship rallied to the Roman cause by providing two plausible alternatives to the historical interpretation of the Protestants. 1. Luis de Alcazar (1554-1630) of Seville, Spain, devised what became known as the ‘preterist’ system of prophetic interpretation. This theory proposed that the Revelation deals with events in the Pagan Roman Empire, that antichrist refers to Nero and that the prophecies were therefore fulfilled long before the time of the medieval church. Alcazar’s preterist system has never made any impact on the conservative, or evangelical wing of the Protestant movement, although in the last one hundred years it has become popular among Protestant rationalists and liberals. 2. A far more successful attack was taken by Francisco Ribera (1537–1591) of Salamanca, Spain. He was the founder of the ‘futurist’ system of prophetic interpretation. Instead of placing antichrist way in the past as did Alcazar, Ribera argues that antichrist would appear way in the future. About 1590 Ribera published a five hundred page commentary on the Apocalypse, denying the Protestant application of antichrist to the church of Rome.”

Well, well. Would you look at that? Jesuits came up with both the “preterist” and “futurist” interpretation systems. Start creating “isms” to keep the masses floundering about and as far away from the Father’s line as possible. Keep the contracts alive and moving.

And while the preterist and partial-preterist view has always been fairly despised amongst believers, it’s the futurist view that has really entranced most denominations and churches in the Western world and especially America. And how and why did the futurist interpretation take such a hold?

Leave that to John Nelson Darby – a total spook by the way – and his Dispensationalism doctrines. We’re told he’s the father of modern Futurism.

But wait, Darby was a Protestant. Didn’t we just establish that Jesuits defending the RCC were to blame? The adversary can and will use anyone and everyone he can to sow discord and confusion. It’s all a part of the plan. Supposedly Darby fell from a horse and while injured he came to believe that the kingdom described in the Old Testament was entirely different from the Christian Church seemingly described in the New Testament.

“Rightly dividing the Word” would now be weaponized.

From there he also bastardized the 1000 year days or ages into rough “dispensations” wherein the Most High’s plans can and do change radically. His eternal holy and just laws become null and void and give way to the “church age” of greasy grace and pie in the sky walking in the Spirit. Now YHWH would have two different plans for two different people, Israel and the Church.

Next on the list would be to transform the blessed hope of the resurrection. Darby simply turned that into a mystical rapture to sweep the church out of the way to allow some the inconvenient language of The Revelation and Gospels to try to make sense within the new construct. Christian Zionism is borne. By design Darby created fiction out of whole cloth. And much of it subtle, twisting words here and creating new meanings there. Much like the serpent in the garden. If you eat of it surely you will not die. Not Today.

Those who have eyes to see and ears to hear.

Fast forward to today and thanks to fellow spook Cyrus Scofield and his Scofield Reference Bible you have almost every single seminary in America, including powerhouses such as Dallas Theological Seminary, pumping out Darbyist-Dispensational eschatology.

No need to read the book and let it speak for itself. They’ll tell you what it says. Both in the seminary and in the pew.

The other problem, as I mentioned, is getting lost in the weeds with pet theories of this-is-that and “newspaper eschatology”.

The view that The Revelation has been unfolding since our Messiah ascended has been further muddied by trying to shoehorn everything about the vision into some corresponding historical event. So now the seven churches at the beginning of the letter must correspond to broad, sweeping time periods and the descriptions of the events or deeds of that church now somehow correlate to events or the general attitude of their arbitrarily assigned date range.

In the words of Mike Tyson, that’s ludicrous.

Could it be that the letter, being written in the first century – and by the way, I believe it was written pre-70AD – was actually addressed to seven actual ekklesias – assemblies – in Asia Minor at that time? It certainly says as much. Once again, written to them but the timeless truths addressed regarding them has application throughout all time, including our present.

Likewise with the seals and trumpets. Most historicists agree that the bowl or vial judgements are all yet to come. But the seals and trumpets get attached to this or that event in history. The seals are generally placed in the time frame up until the 4th Century. The first four trumpets are largely regarded as the invasions on the Western empire in the 5th century by the Huns, Visigoths, Heruli and Vandals. The 5th and 6th trumpets are said to deal with the Turkish and Saracen invasions on the Eastern side.

Chapter 10 is said to represent the Reformation. But also the Two Witnesses are also sometimes linked to the Reformation as well. Popular theories link the French Revolution to Chapter 11.

Some theories concern the Beast from the sea and the wound that was healed. In 1798, French General Louis Berthier kicked the Pope out and stripped him of his authority. But a few years later, in 1813, the papacy was restored. What looked like the death of the Beast and a mortal head wound turned out to not be fatal and it was revived and restored.

And really the theories and finger pointing go all over the place. Seventh Day Adventists get a little more literal and creative and attribute much more natural disaster type phenomena such as the 1755 earthquake in Lisbon, Portugal and the Leonids meteor shower that occurred in November of 1833 as fulfillment of judgements.

666 is “Nero Caesar” no, no, it’s “Vicarius Filii Dei” – never mind, that’s Latin. Could be Greek for GEE-ZUZ. Go talk to a Gematria wizard and they’ll whip up any number of combinations for you. Grover Cleveland probably equals 666 in some permutation. I’m sure there’s a right interpretation. And if John expected his readers to use wisdom and understand, then I’m guessing we’re either missing the forest for the trees or we just like playing with numbers.

My point is not to try to go line by line and convince anyone that this event in the vision equals that in history or will necessarily be this or that in the future. It’s a fool’s errand.

And here’s why.

That’s not the point of prophecy. YHWH is not hiding anything and if and unless we uncover it then ding ding ding we get the prize. Revelation literally means a revealing. The adversary is the only one trying to hide, obfuscate or outright change things. That’s their Modus Operandi, not the Most High’s. He may show the prophets visions and command the Son to speak in parables, but the sheep of His flock will always know him. He already has witnesses. His Son is called Faithful and True. Heaven and Earth will testify of the works He has done.

We can only see through the veil dimly.

While Greece was riding roughshod across continents in breathtaking fashion, no contemporary of the day was going, Yep, that Alexander guy in Macedonia is totally the shaggy goat. It was only after the passage of time that we can see that it happened exactly as we we’re told. It’s only because we know what lawlessness is that we can rightly identify Antiochus IV Epiphanes as an anti-messiah. We were told ahead of time what would qualify. Daniel and his people understood that.

And it depends on how much you trust the narrative we’ve been given by TPTSNB. If you’re a regular reader of this site then you’ll know and understand that we probably can’t know the level of things that have been changed through history and into our day. The enemy has upped their game. We do know the calendar has been changed. Several times over. We Natsarim fight over the appointed times even because of the confusion. Heck – we might not be closer to 2000 years into the times of the Gentiles, perhaps only 1000.

Crazy, I know. But not at all implausible.

“He will speak words against the Most High, and will continually harass the kedoshim of the Most High, and will try to change the appointed times and law. The kedoshim will be handed over to him for a time, times and half a time.”

Do you see? We’ve been handed over for a bit to be tested and refined. The set apart ones in every generation. Those who truly obey and love both the Father and the Son. We’re all slaves in Egypt. All we can mostly perceive is the crack of the slave master’s whip.

“Awake, O sword, against My shepherd, against the man who is My companion! It is a declaration of Adonai-Tzva’ot. Strike the shepherd and the sheep will be scattered. I will turn My hand against the little ones.”

This happened. He’s already told us so. Multiple times. Please read and understand!

“And Yahusha said to them, “You will all fall away, for it is written, ‘I will strike the Shepherd, and the sheep will be scattered.’”

“As a shepherd looks after his scattered flock when he is with them, so will I look after my sheep. I will rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on a day of clouds and darkness.”

If we learn to tune out the slave master’s commands and instead listen and look to our Father then we start to see the moves the enemy has made to blind and confuse us.

Many are just waking up to the fact that the kingdom of Tartaria was a thing and looks like it had to get expunged from the record. Entire cities and cultures across continents had to be erased post-haste.

Major cataclysms and earth-changing events have happened that they’ve tried to cover up and explain away.

The island of Atlantis most probably fairly recently sunk into the sea. The islands of the Azores are the last tips of the mountains extending out to mark its location. And there are books that plainly tell us this!

Maps from the 1600s and even into the 1700s show California as an Island. Where there’s now mountains and desert, a vast sea used to exist.

Whole islands of dead woolly mammoths exist off the coast of Siberia. Some are so preserved that dogs have eaten the flesh and all of the fur is intact. People still regularly make cover of darkness runs to go pick up mammoth tusks to sell on the black market.

It appears that dragons and sea monsters were fairly common up until just a couple hundred years ago.

And what’s up with Chilaga and Norumbega?

Mud floods. Repurposed buildings. Existing architecture.

Fires, plagues, earthquakes, things falling from the sky.

Things coming up out of the ground or the sea. Funny how UFOs are only ever reported as coming or going from underneath the earth or the sea.

All these things seemed to have happened and continue to happen. And when has there not been a war somewhere at some time?

“Tell us, when will these things happen? What will be the sign that all these things are about to be accomplished?”

“Watch out that no one leads you astray!”

“For nation will rise up against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be earthquakes in various places, and there will be famines. These things are only the beginning of birth pains.”

Enoch tells us that the Watchers taught men and the daughters of men all sorts of things they ought not have. How to make weapons for war, makeup for harlotry. All sorts of new technologies and innovations.

70 generations were decreed for their imprisonment. Look at the timeline and our technologies utterly spike in the 1800s. We’re told it was merely an industrial revolution. Count back 70 generations as reckoned from scripture and keep the 7000 years decreed for man in mind.

“Then the fifth angel trumpeted, and I saw a star that had fallen from heaven to earth. The key to the bottomless pit was given to him. He opened the pit, and smoke rose from the pit like the smoke of a gigantic furnace. The sun and the air were darkened by the smoke from the pit.”

“They have as king over them the angel of the abyss. His name in Hebrew is Abaddon, and in Greek he has the name Apollyon.”

“The sixth angel trumpeted, and I heard a single voice from the four horns of the golden altar before God.  It said to the sixth angel, the one holding the trumpet, “Release the four angels who are bound at the great river Euphrates.” So the four angels—who had been prepared for the hour and day and month and year—were released to kill a third of mankind.”

How many people were killed in the World Wars? Just asking a simple question. How many people have died due to pestilence and plague and fire and war and disease?

And yet…

“But the rest of mankind, those not killed by these plagues, did not repent and turn away from the works of their hands—they would not stop worshiping demons and the idols of gold and silver and stone and wood, which cannot see or hear or walk. And they did not repent and turn away from their murders or their sorceries or their sexual immorality or their stealing.”

We sit and squabble about the timing of the tribulation not realizing we – those who would guard the commandments of YHWH – have been in constant tribulation since our Kohen Gadol ascended through the firmament to minister on our behalf.

And what did he say would happen?

“Then they will hand you over to persecution and will kill you. You will be hated by all the nations because of my name. And then many will fall away and will betray one another and hate one other. Many false prophets will arise and lead many astray. Because lawlessness will multiply, the love of many will grow cold. But the one who endures to the end will be saved. This good news of the kingdom shall be proclaimed in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come.”

And lest we should forget about the timing, what else did he say in basically the same breath?

“Now learn the parable from the fig tree. When its branch becomes tender and puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. So also, when you see all these things, know that it is near, at the door. Amein, I tell you, this generation will not pass away until all these things happen.”

Lots of bad things were all gonna happen within that generation. And they were gonna continue to happen right up to the very end.

Let me just say, if you were in Jerusalem in the first century and you saw armies surrounding it, then you didn’t heed the Messiah’s words. Likewise if you live there now and armies are about to surround it again, look out. Armies tend to have a habit of wanting to surround that place.

And of course, because it’s the whore of Babylon. The waters have been muddied there too, but this one is literally impossible to miss if you just read what it says not only in The Revelation itself, but all throughout the whole book.

“Hear the word of Adonai, you rulers of Sodom! Give ear to the Torah of our God, you people of Gomorrah!”

“See how the faithful city has become a prostitute! She once was full of justice; righteousness used to dwell in her— but now murderers!”

“Long ago you broke off your yoke and tore off your bonds; you said, ‘I will not serve you!’ Indeed, on every high hill and under every spreading tree you lay down as a prostitute.”

“They became prostitutes in Egypt, engaging in prostitution from their youth. In that land their breasts were fondled and their virgin bosoms caressed.”

“All her idols will be broken to pieces; all her temple gifts will be burned with fire; I will destroy all her images. Since she gathered her gifts from the wages of prostitutes, as the wages of prostitutes they will again be used.”

“And their corpses will lie in the open street of the great city that figuratively is called Sodom and Egypt—where also their Adonai was crucified.”

As I mentioned in my article comparing the short-lived CHAZ to that very city during the siege, prophecy follows type and anti-type. Always. There’s multiple examples of the same thing because there’s nothing new under the sun. A despot is a despot regardless of creed. A tyrant is a tyrant regardless of the colors or symbols on their flag. A Beast is a beast. A harlot a harlot. By their fruit you shall know them.

The fig tree blooms every season. It doesn’t occur just once. So be on the lookout always. Stop trying to put the Most High and His Son in a box. Understand what has happened. What is happening right now. Read the book from front to back and you’ll be confident that you know what will happen in the future.

If the sky should open up and stars fall to the ground you will not be shaken. Your foundation will be firm.

“Then he tells me, ‘Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near. Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do righteousness, and the holy still be holy. Behold, I am coming soon, and my reward is with me, to pay back each one according to his deeds. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. How fortunate are those who do His commandments, so that they may have the right to the Tree of Life and may enter through the gates into the city. Outside are the dogs and the sorcerers and the sexually immoral and the murderers and the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.  I, Yahusha, have sent my angel to testify these things to you for my communities. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, the Bright and Morning Star.’”

If you do not see the plumb line clearly in that passage then you simply haven’t read the book. The above demolishes and dismantles much church doctrine. Let your theology go. Let loose any “ism” that you might hold tight or that you grew up learning from the pulpit. It’s really all very simple and clear.

Listen to our Messiah. He is faithful and true. Do not fear the world. Take off your mask. Refuse the mark. Do the commands of the Torah. Why? Because then you will live! Because he’s already given you everything you need to endure to the end, whether that be today, tomorrow or in one hundred or one thousand years.

“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.”

I just literally spent the whole day researching different aspects of preterism in order to refute someone who said the Great Tribulation occurred already in 70 AD so this article was so timely for me almost like a gut punch. I have always understood prophecy as partial fulfillment vs complete fulfillment. I feel you echoed the same sentiment in a thoughtful and compelling manner. For each generation has faced their own Great Tribulation in some aspects. I do believe there will be a final Tribulation but is this it? I do not know since I cannot trust their timeline then how are we to know really where we are in the whole scheme of things. Yahshua did say that the gospel will be preached to the ends of the world and then the end will come. I believe the missionary who died a couple of years ago reaching the last known un contacted tribe was a fulfillment of that prophecy. I pray that I am found worthy to escape all these things coming upon the Earth. I have had a hard life and I am ready for rest. Beautiful article. The ending really touched me.

There is a verse in 2 edras that talks about a younger womb giving off larger children and as it ages the children become smaller. Looking at the buildings that maybe mud flood remnants they look as though they were built for larger beings. Who would build 14-20 foot ceilinged homes in an era they were heating with wood in a climate that is cold and damp? And that the dragon spells out a river but the earth swallows it up comes to my mind. And also that the woman would be carried off to the wilderness for times times n half a time. This could be talking about the united states. If a time was a hundred years. Mostly random thoughts I admit stimulated by your thought provoking article.

I don’t personally call it partial vs. complete. I go with type vs anti-type. So yes at appointed times there are typical fulfillments of thing that we’ve already been shown the anti-typical version of. This is recurring throughout scripture and not just with prophecy, but prophecy is rife with it and always seems to follow that model.

    Excellent.
What is expressed here is what I have softened pondered as I read Scripture. It seems that every generation since the beginning has had their own Tribulation and Revelation that it has occurred over and over again and we are experiencing it today..Not a climax of a ONE time event but played out over and over in time

Reading Scripture shows over and over that seasons come and go as time marches on each generation has gone through wars famine pestilence. please respond with anything I may have missed

Yes, this gets to the heart of the type vs. anti-types in prophecy. They are to be used as way points or examples that other generations are to see and mark. Such as Sodom and Gomorrah, for instance. This is also why I hypothesize that the powers that should not be try to cover up events desperately and/or create their own mock events. Because then we will not see the markers and examples or only see their false examples.

He opened his mouth in parables and without a parable he spoke not a word.

That is the OT and NT.
Understanding parables brings us closer to understanding his words.

Now it was two days before the passover…
    …and see a man bearing a pitcher of water….

Prepare the upper chamber and make ready.

In two days I will eat this passover with my disciples.

Yahushuah was baptized in 26-27 AD

Brethren know for certain that with Yahuah a day is as a thousand years and a thousand years as a day.

2 days will be fulfilled in 2027-2028 AD.

Yes, exactly. You know, I’ve done some of my own math when looking into the 7 days and I’ve also come to the 2027-2028 dates as well. So that’s very interesting that others have come to that conclusion as well. I didn’t get there based off of Messiah’s baptism, but there are various ways to get there.

I wish we could be sure of that date. From 26-28, 29-31, 31-37 are all dates I have heard and on top of that I am certain the the true year/date We are in is hidden anyway. Just be ready everyday. Like an old Irish proverb, “live every day like it is your last and one day you will right”.

Thank you for pulling together the strings on so many relevant topics in your recent articles. This subject of Revelation and its timelines especially has been one I researched more intently for the past couple of months, after a friend sent me a seminary on preterism, in the hope that I would jump on the same bandwagon. However, I do agree with your conclusions completely.

YHWH – “who is, was and is to come” – probably writes His history (or should I say continual presence) just the same way – of things that were, are and will be coming. We cant just order or interpret prophecy in simple chronological style, ticking off the boxes as we go along. History does tend to repeat itself.

One thing has got me thinking though – as fascinating as the idea of the “missing 1000 years” theory is (which Noel also touched on recently) – there can only be one correct statement out of the following two:

    1. Either we have some serious muddying of historical waters in terms of the correct current dato annum and “they” have somehow cleverly and covertly cheated us out of a possible missing 1000 years,
    or
    2. the Watchers have been released somewhere around the 1800’s after completing their 70 generational punishment period in captivity, coinciding with the sharp incline in technological advancement around that time. In this case we would currently find ourselves somewhere in the latter “day 6”, aka 2020, not back in 1020’ish.

Both probably don’t work simultaneously – so which one shall it be? I would hope, the latter! 😀

Also, talking about movies and truth in plain sight – “Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice” was quite something in that arena! So now I am wondering – how much did they show us of the truth, hidden to most others; considering the opening scene already starts with the captivating words: “There was a time above. A time before. There were perfect things, diamond absolutes. How things fall. And what falls, is fallen.” Another scene elaborates on this theme by stating that devils dont come from hell beneath, they come from the sky above!

In this movie, the beast is a hybrid genetic manipulation of an alien body modified and brought back to life by technology. Perhaps there is also still a future beast that will rise again – a theory Rob Skiba very interestingly elaborates on – perhaps they will heal the mortal wound of an ancient Nimrod/Pharao through DNA engineering? The mark, by which we will not buy nor sell – genetic tampering? Hoping for death but not finding it – the singularity, immortality by means of robotics, as in 2045.com? Who knows….

Interesting times we live in. Were they not always. 🙂
