THE VERY last book of the Tanakh, on it’s very last page, reads:

“Remember the Law of Moses My servant, even the statutes and ordinances which I commanded him in Horeb for all Israel.”

Mal’aki (Malachi) 4:4

How in the world do we go from reading that to turning the page and proclaiming: “Woo-hoo! Thank God for the New Testament! We don’t have to remember the Law anymore!” From their very conception, the Christians of Antioch became masters and deceiving themselves. For example, they’ll quote from Hosea, noses raised, as proof that I’m twisting Scripture when it comes to obedience towards the Law of Yahuah.

They’ll claim: “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge….”

Ouch.

Apparently, I’m expected to receive this phrase as some sort of a “fallen from grace” insult. I advocate an obedience to the Father, and therefore I’m destroyed for lack of knowledge. Oh, I get it. I see what they did there.

And I’m like: “Uh-huh, finish the verse. Keep reading…”

“…because thou hast rejected knowledge,
I will also reject thee,
that thou shalt be no priest to me:
seeing thou hast Forgotten the LAW of thy Elohim,
I will also forget thy children.”
Hosea 4:6

Oh, sigh.

Talk about twisting Scripture.

TZITZIT & CIRCUMCISION

THIS LATEST paper is brought to you by Abraham’s covenant with Yahuah. Specifically, circumcision. I guess you can consider everything written above as a sort of introduction, because really, Scripture couldn’t be any clearer, and yet just about everyone hates Yahuah. Like, Christians claim to love Jesus. But when it comes down to it, they hate the Father. How does that work, exactly? If we want to live in our Father’s House, that is, New Jerusalem, then it would only make sense that we obey His house rules. The Law is an eternal mirror reflection of Yahuah’s character. David had a heart for Yahuah and he delighted in the Law. If Israel’s shepherd were alive today he’d be tossed out of every church in America as an apostate. Think about it. If you refuse to obey Yahuah, then why in the world do you expect, nor want to, experience and eternity with Him? Disobedient and lawless children need not apply.

Over the last couple of weeks I’ve been on “vacation.” Yeah, let’s go with that. Mm-hmm, vacation. I drove my family to Tennessee and then out to Missouri in order to visit with a longtime friend, Adam Fink. Some of you will immediately recall that Fink is the man behind The Parable of the Vineyard YouTube channel. You may have also noticed that I’ve included all of Adam Fink’s Torah portions on The Unexpected Cosmology. Torah Portions. We then drove back down to Florida, just south of Cape Canaveral, to Shabbat with Justin Best. Again, he would be the talent behind the Christian Truthers YouTube channel. Best has taken a heavy back-handed dosage of heat over the last several months for stepping out in opposition to the false apostle Sha’ul. Then again, I have too. You can read about some of my experiences and thoughts while crossing America, perhaps for the last time, in the following paper. COVID-1984. Also, this one. Did Yahushua Return in 70 AD? I bring this up because there’s one primary motive to our last minute sprint to Missouri, and I was waiting until this very moment to discuss it. Even then, I had absolutely no clue that we’d be hunkering down in a spiritual battlefield.

On the very weekend that I first realized Yahuah’s Law is eternal and true and therefore applicable for everyone, I confessed over the phone to Rob Skiba, and also to Adam Fink: “I didn’t circumcise my children.” It was a sorrowful thought, especially considering the Law had been the delight and desire of my heart all along. I had forsaken circumcision for my twin sons at the milestone of their birth because of Sha’ul’s letter to the Galatiym, and because forsaking the Law is what I was told I was supposed to do if I wanted to inherit eternal life. The entire breadth of Scripture tells us to be obedient to Torah and then a self-made man who’s never met Messiah shows up, defies the apostles, and then tells the Christians of Antioch to exemplify lawlessness through a new doctrine and a new gospel, not supported by any other Hebrew writer, thereby disproving the whole of Yahuah’s Testimony. Try not to let cognitive dissonance win the day. Before coming over to Torah, I had wrestled with understanding the circumcision issue for well over a year. Actually, decades prior to. I wrote about my conversation with a Jew in Jerusalem while backpacking through the Middle-East here. Jews reject Jesus because of Paul. The issue was circumcision. And even while coming to Torah, I attempted to defend Sha’ul in the discussion. Christian Talmud. Because the issue was still circumcision.

When I finally decided to stop making up bunk about Sha’ul and come to terms with the fact that he’s a wizard and a spook under the pay of the Herod’s, ultimately Nero, sent as Balaam to undo the work of Torah and Messiah, my wife and I were like: “Oh crap, we need to circumcise our children.”

Now, I had made the decision to start wearing tzitzits without forcing that conviction on my family. There was never any reason to pressure them. I simply wanted their desire to come through circumcised hearts (Deuteronomy 30:6). I did however carry their tassels with us almost everywhere we went, even while living in Europe. Paris. London. Venice. Dublin. Zermatt. Salzburg. Munich. Edinburgh. And then one morning, soon after returning stateside again, my five year-old twin sons finally asked if they could wear their tassels.

I quickly asked them why.

Ira said: “Because I love Yahuah and want to think about Him.”

So, we sat down together and rehearsed Yahuah’s commandments before I tied them onto their garments. It was a wonderful moment as a parent, watching my sons walk around Charleston, South Carolina, shameless of their love for our heavenly Father.

Circumcision was little different. Sarah and I wanted to circumcise our children. It was my obligation as a father to uphold Torah within my household, but we also wanted them to be willfully obedient as a sign of their covenant.

Again, if you’re asking why, it’s because we’re a Torah observant household. No other claim or accusation has been made. Just Torah observance. We believe loving Yahashua, the last prophet, means being obedient to his Father’s commands. And they just can’t fathom Eric and Ira being taught obedience to Yahuah. It causes their stomachs to curdle. I’m by no means stretching the truth when I say they hate Yahuah’s Law. Indeed, my mother  is calling my wife and me “child abusers,” her words, to anyone who will listen. Accusations include “stomping on the cross of Jesus Christ,” and instructing our children to do the same. Yahushua was hung from a tree, by the way. Tammuz. Her sister is insisting that we’re partaking in some sort of sick sadistic rituals. Their imagination runs on and on from there. Ironically, I was given the “mutilated cut” as a baby. If you don’t know what this is, it’s essentially removing as much skin as is humanly possible from the babies penis. The Hebrews took a shnip from their sons penis. Just a shnip. Nothing more than a shnip. No Hebrew penis was mutilated in the cut. Strangely enough, the Gentiles like to remove everything while hating the very motivation behind a Hebrew cut. My mother was so furious that she demanded I remove more, even though I had none left to give. Oh, the double-think.

And it all comes down to Sha’ul.

They’re threatening legal action, and may have even attempted to do so, because of Sha’ul.

Accordingly, we’re living out our sensual fleshly desires, because apparently humanities greatest trouble, according to Paul-ianity, is its inclination and desire to obey Yahuah. Sinners just can’t help themselves. They want so badly to obey the Law of heaven. That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Not even the bulk of Hebrews in Scripture cared much for Yahuah’s kingdom Law. Today, nothing has changed.

At any rate, if we’re enslaving our children to a doctrine of death, it’s because of Sha’ul.

We’re being turned into the authorities because of Sha’ul.

Call it blame shifting if you will. Claim that they’re simply twisting Sha’ul’s words all you want. Keep coming to Sha’ul’s defense. But their messiah and their god clearly derives from their readings of Sha’ul, and none other. If a spiritual “Jesus” came to enlighten us and do away with the fleshly chains of the creator demiurge, “Jehovah,” then that’s the very definition of Gnosticism. Read that last sentence again and again if you have to. Mm-hmm, Gnosticism. They believe they’re doing Jesus a favor because of Sha’ul.

During His sermon on the Mount, Yahushua clearly and forcefully stated His theological position on the Law of Yahuah. He said, “Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets (Matthew 5:17).” The premise here is quite simple. It is impossible for the Messiah to break Torah. Had he so much as intended to do away with it, then Deuteronomy 13 and 18 would have outed him as a false prophet. According to Torah, the Messiah could not even intend others to break it, or else he would not be a prophet.

Was Yahushua being legalistic by keeping it? Don’t be ridiculous.

While addressing the Pharisees, Yahushua said:

That’s the very definition of a Pharisee. “Holding to the traditions of men….” But that’s probably none of my business.

So, why must Christians condemn the Torah pursuant to the slough of legalism? Perhaps our agitators are in rebellion against the Elohim they claim to serve. After all, the Apostle Yohanan said point-blank, “He that saith, ‘I know him,’ and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him (1 John 2:4).” Yohanan is essentially directing our attention to Psalm 119, specifically it’s 142nd verse, which reads: “Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, and Your law is truth.” The Law of Yahuah is the only truest truth in a dark world of counterfeit witnesses. Apparently, everyone is falsely testifying against it.

No wonder why the Word made flesh was murdered. The darkness hates the light. That’s a dangerous prospect then, when Yohanan further instructed us: “He who says he abides in him ought himself also to walk just as he walked (1 John 2:6).” Wait, we’re expected to walk in the same manner as our Master who was murdered? Uh-oh. Here comes the persecution.

‘To obey Torah is to deny Christ,’ I am often told.

There’s no end to the hatred. Just about everyone hates Yahuah.

On the morning after we circumcised our sons in Missouri, north of Branson and south of Springfield, I stood in the middle of a river and prayed for heavens protection. Among an onslaught of accusatory texts, my mother finally concluded: “You don’t deserve your children.” I was reminded of what Yahushua said concerning his own mother, sisters, and brothers. My true family has shifted to a spiritual seed. And I knew it then. Angels guarded the doorways to our cabin. Only days shy of turning six years-old, Eric sat up and watched the entire operation with curiosity. The clamp. The cut. The blood and the gauze and the stitching. We had come this far to hire the services of a highly recommended surgical nurse, and my first-born child never made a peep. Ira decided to sleep through it. Before the operation, neither child had ever confessed to praying on their own, even when I persistently asked. Within hours, Eric told me that he was praying. And then he spoke what Yahuah had told him.

The child prophesied.

I am a servant of Yahuah, the Most-High Elohim. My prayer is that He will not bring shame to His own people. If Yah wills it, the enemy will fall to my left and my right. Those who oppose Him and set a snare for me will trip into the ditch of their own design.

“But as for me and my house, we will serve Yahuah.”
